what light cycle for seedlings?

I have 6 bag seeds planted 3 have sprouted and showing the first two leaves. Iv been told that you keep the lights on all the time till there is about five or so leaves? correct or no? for the 2 days that theyv been in there theyv been on day and night should I change it?

They should have a night cycle like they do in nature how long well thats up to you!

what would be your best advice? as to when to turn them off and start having night and day casue the lights been on all the time and I dont really wanna shock it by just turningthem off

The majority of people use a 18 hours on and 6 hours off cycle (18/6), when you want to flower them put them on a 12/12 cycle. You can Veg them for 24 hours but I and many other people will advise you against it as the plant will use the hours of non-light for root growth.

i use 16/8, saves me about 30 cents a day
