whats the problem with this plant? (pics)

As you can see it looks pretty healthy but I'm a little confused as to why the leaves are curling up like that. The top newer leaves are not doing that, its just the older ones that are further down. Also, not all the leaves are doing that, only a few of them.

Did a bunch of searches to find out if anyone else had the same problem. Didn't find much. The plant is about 2.5 weeks old and is being grown in hydro.

Any ideas of what is causing this?

If I read right the older leaves will do that... If not I suggest just checking everything to make sure its all goin right...

Air circulation
Lighting
Water PH
Nutes
and check you pot you may need to upgrade to a bigger pot.
My guess is the roots have no where to grow and is causing that.

have fun

I would put my money on light being to close If its HID 400+ you might have it too close what is your lighting and what do you have for a fan blowing on the plants? Btw all your leaves have this problem just not to a degree you notice it as much as the ones you are pointing out.

I'm using a 400 W MH and it is currently 14 inches from the top of the highest plant. I have a 16" fan about 4 feet away blowing direclty at the space between the plants and the light.

I agree many of the other leaves curl but not as much as the one I took a pic of, but none of the top leaves are doing this.

If its the heat from the light why don't the top leaves that, are closer to the light, curl?

Those plants are too small for that much light, Move it back to about 18 inches and let them grow into 14 inches from it then move it up as they grow. The ones closer to the light are curling, look close.

This is how the same plant looks today. Do you think I should still change the distance of the light? If you still think so, then I'll go move it. Does it look like its drooping at all? Should I flood more?
