When Should Seeds Sprout?

I put my seeds in the ground saturday (after germin), water'd them, rainfall today, when should I see sprouts?

first time i did it took 2 days so anywhere from 1-8 days is normal

its better to germinate them first and then stick them in the ground.. better chances of sprouts becoming j's...
