when the best time to start pinching seedlings for branching

hey guys i havent been on this site in years but im back !! .. ive done some growing in the past but didnt do it for a while and am a bit rusty would mind getting some good info from some vets in this game as i am starting grow personal legally, and looking to becomae and LP in the near future as my work options have changed due too my drastic health change. I have no other choice as im 29 years old, and have been diagnosed with stage 3b colon cancer earlier this year, and im in and out of chemo.so with the legalization going threw im looking to get into the business slowly :).
SO my first question up for discussion is when to start pinching seedings to branch out your plants as there growng. Some say 3 weeks some say 2 weeks and some 4 just wondering what everyones experience is with this! any good info would be greatly appreciated.:) thanks in advance and have a great one everyone!!

I like to have at least two growing tips to be left on each stalk I nip.

He has told us nothing about his goals, plant count, or environment.

Hell, a lot of tent growers run single cola plants which require zero "pinching".

my goals are too produce a nice tight smaller room with high yield and start perfecting smaller room systems for the future :) preferably 4by 8 tables when i get a place of my own !! ..
im growing with soil cause i can move plants around to maximize light distributing for this tiny room unfortunately im dealing with very little space as im still renting but my plant count is 8 plants for a close to 3ft by 5ft room only 48" height .. so basically a tent but my own creation as i work in renovations my whole life .. i know the size is a bit weird but its all i had for space in this little tiny apartment.. im running a 700 watt LED (VIPARSPECTRA dimmable series ) which seems to be a pretty awsome light so far but a little smaller then what im used to with a traditional HPS set-up and a parabolic hood.. this light is rectangular at 20" by almost 12" perfectly centered both ways in my room..

48" isn't much height to work with.
I'd SCROG it.

I would never nip the top of a real young plant .They have to have a few Nodes before I mess around with topping or any training,I do sometimes pull them sideways ,at around 4/6 inch.This promotes multiple tops from the side nodes .This been my preference.

Another thing, I think you're going to find it extremely difficult to get into "The Business". It's not just as easy as growing some plants and there are many expert growers that have tried and given up. The competition is stiff, there is a glut of marijuana, and there are significant up front costs. If you're asking questions like "When to top" you are probably not ready to be growing weed for a living. Not trying to be a jerk but you'll probably save yourself time, money, and headaches by just growing some personal and forgetting about getting into the business.

The days for little guys getting rich from growing pot are over. Takes a lot of money to get into the LP game and there's already too much production in the works. With outdoor growing being approved a lot of LPs will bite the dust over the next couple years.

Still hundreds of LP applications not yet processed. A small artisan type grow has hopes and is possible in BC and Alberta but I'm not sure about other provinces. Still need a decent amount of start-up cash to get that going.
