when to harvest?

My plant is flowering its pistils are beginning to turn a reddish color. but on the other hand the trich's are still clear. also the buds are still small and new. what's the deal?

6 weeks at least. and yeah thats a good reference pic. but will these pistils fall off before my triches are amber? or do they tend to just remain red?

they just remain there some will fall off but usually indica strains 8-10 weeks for flower and up to 3 months some sativas but id say you got another few wweks to go and also another way to tell is the red hair ratio to the white hair ratio.........so if you got 70% w/h and 30 % red let her keep going and if your dealing with 75% red to 25 % white then very close to harvest

6 weeks at least do you not know the exact day you started them? If so may I make a suggestion? Keep a journal or at least a calendar to keep track of when you started flowering and when you finished. If you cloned the plant the next time you grow you'll have that knowledge, if you feel like you pulled them 5 days to soon well you know to go 5 extra days the next time.... keep notes
