When to harvest

I'm an amateur grower my plants have been on 12 12 light cycle 8 weeks I busted a piece off one of the buds dried it and it was not potent at all can somebody please tell me after looking at the pictures I uploaded please tell me when I know for sure that I could Harvest I appreciate any advice thank you

I'm not sure that's the method you want to follow. 12 weeks veg is way to long for an indoor grow IMO. Especially if you have a sativa dominant strain. Hell it get 15' tall by the time it was done :). Typically people veg between 4 and 6 weeks, then flip to 12/12 until done which depending on strain is typically eight to ten weeks.

Take closer better pics but from a distance, def need more time. When you say 8 weeks I don’t usually count the first week or so when they are first transitioning. I’m sure you read about ember hairs and scope with how the heads look under the scope. But a dead giveaway is dying leaves

Definitely 2-4 more weeks. Some more pics that are clear and in focus of the bud will help. Even if you are just a grower of 1 or 2 plants, I would seriously consider buying a 10-15$ digital pocket microscope. Even with it, you will still question yourself and when to harvest, but it gives you a nice concrete visible way to help determine it. Good luck on harvest buddy. :)
