When to use nutes on my autoflower

I got some free Afghan Kush Ryder seeds and I've never used autoflowers before and I'm curious when to use nutes because if heard you really shouldnt use more than 1/2 strength and i've also heard that some autoflower strains dont need nutes....I am using happy frog soil, and if i am to use nutes i have the humboldt conventional 3-part line...any suggestions will be much obliged.

I have a northen lights auto & as soon as mine started showing the faintist little white hairs I started with flowering nutes on her!! I am using tiger bloom & beastie bloomz on her!! But half strength though!! I've always used nutes on my autos & never had 1 bit of problems! Just start off mixing half strength & you'll be fine bro!!

I'm running my first batch of autos, Auto Moscow and Sugar Mango Ryder started under 16/8 cycle using T-5 4' X 6, Advanced Nutrients complete 4-part nute kit plus their Sensi Grow 2-part. In an AeroGarden no less. As for feeding strength, I use the full meausre, just keep an eye on them for signs of burn. Two and a half weeks of flowering and buds galore, even have trichs coming on. Had two plants damp off because of planting depth but both came back from the edge but decided to keep one and remove the other.

Can't wait for my new DP Auto Blueberrys to get started. I planted one and it just surfaced so let the fun begin. DP Auto BB is reported to be a light feeder so I'll definitely cut back on my nutes for them. All living things need nutes of some sort. How long can you live without eating?
