which way for seeds

hey guys, so i picked up one of those areo gardens, not because i wanna make a

big crop, but just enough so i dont need to buy anymore. I germinated the seeds,

but now i dont know how to plant them. Is the part poking out of the seed, the

root or the beginning of the plant. So in that case do i plant with it facing down or

towards the light? Any advice would be helpful and if anyone has any tips for the

areo gardens it would be appreciated.

that is the tap root that is coming from the seed so plant it down.
i dont do areogardens so that it for now. good luck
