Greetings fellow RIU'ers

After dealing with broad mites. I had no choice but to chop, trash and hit the reset button. I got replacements (White Russian) they took almost 20 days to really show they were flowering. I flipped 3/20/15

My question: Anyone have experience with this strain?

Will hairs recede and turn color or will they remain White ? I CAN upload pics apon request.

There's a solid reply.

It really took 20 days to get them this far. Which was very slow and worry some for me.

How long of a bloom cycle?

Any pictures ?

Thanks, PL
That looks right to me for 20 days flowering, but youve got about 40 days to go. its a 8-9 weeker in my experience. No pics its been about a year since i had her. being your entering the fourth week now time to stary hitting her with P K boost if you want some serious growtH thougj. What nutrients are you using?

I love the white russian. You get the big frost from the white widow and the weight/taste from the AK47. She yields heavy if done well.

In my experience shebneeds about 70-75 days from when you flip to 12/12. The hairs will start to turn before, but she will need more time to finish. And if she started showing little buds around 20 days then she is right in time.

She is a thin lanky plant so you may find that her bud weight will weigh down her stems and you might have to tie them up...

If you do a good run with her you will be wowed...

Thanks, sorry for the late reply.. I'm stoked she doing well. I had broad mites and I had to clean my tent and start over .. (these were the replaced ladies that the guys at the cloners market replaced I was worried this would have mites on them as well since they were the ones who infected my room to begin with. But NO they seem to be doing okay :) they look good nice and crystal not the best yield but then again it's to early to really say that. I expected more growth. I'm using GH flora nova series for my Nutes my ppm is around 700-750ppm pH 6.2

They look great! How many days since you flipped?

Not to worry. They chunk right up during the last 3 weeks. Remember...they need about 70-75 days to finish nice...

Been growing than strain constantly for a decade now ...
Still have over 3000 seeds (regular ,IBL ),of that strain ...
Been growing it with HPS ,MH and the last year or so with COB LEDS (<= Best results ever ,quality & quantity / kWh wise )...

- 63- 70 day flowering (9-10 weeks ).
- Short -compact plant .
- Heavy yielder .
- Resistant to herbivore pests .
-Very needy in N ,Ca & Mg during vegetative stage ,
very needy in K & Ca in flowering .
- High quality herb .Very sweet & smooth taste when smoking ,
spicy and fruity when vaped ..Mostly cerebral and less body effects .
- The strain can build up some serious thick colas .
In such case be cautious for bud-rot . (Use of fans is almost a must then ...) .

Your plants look great !
Nice job .
I'm sure you will be very satisfied with your herb .

Cheers.

Thank you for the kind words, I flipped on March 29 so I believe I'm on day 34 ?

When you talk about bud rot? are you talking about during flower cycle or when Drying?

-ch33b ( Would love some seeds :p )

during flowering ...
Thick colas ,combined with dense canopy ,is kinda of an ideal situation ,
for bud-rot to attack ...
