is that a 6500 K tube or a Gro Lux ? If it's labeled cool white (4100 K) you won't see much growth. I prefer CFLs they produce a more intense level of light. You could have that seedling less than an inch away from a tube safely.i started with a 100w incandescent for the 1st two days (yes i know you're absolutely not suppose to use those) but it was all i had and it was like a foot away from the plant and then i used a 15w floresent and now i have it under a 19watt floresent. this pic is of it under the 19watt. should i put some more dirt in the cup?
not really, do you want to see your plants just exist for weeks or explode with rich, lush growth ? If the later get 6500 K bulbs. See the attached graph for the huge difference the right light makes.. the color temp natrual light is 4100k. if i use both bulbs, is it good?
they're worthless for growing, use them for lighting you house, that's all they're good for.so even if i used 2 4100k's it wouldnt do much?
one to start, seeings as you only got one plant (what if it's a male ?) GE & Philips both make good 6500 K AKA Daylight bulbs.damn aight i guess i need to get some 6500s. how many do you think id need for what stage my plants in now, 1? sorry im totally new and dont know much
sure it's good 24/0 is better if you want to speed things up.alright cool. thanks! oh, im doing an 18/6 light cycle, is that good?
