Why U No Grow!?

So there are a few thing things around, Started them the first of September, they all busted right through their paper towel beds, right now out of all of them 1 (compared to the others) is somewhat kickin ass all green verging on a foot tall (There's a white broad that just lost her husband, this kid thats always chewing gum, and I hear there might be a full moon out tonight) anyhow the rest mostly the kid all baaaaaarely pushin 6 inches stubby and now starting to turn yellow brown die from the bottom up. Stems are green tho but I bet they're probably last die.

I'm not gonna give specifics, fert, nutes, soil, lights just know that the best is being done with what is there.

I think it's very odd that some are doing good and some are doing very poorly for 5-6 weeks in their final homes, a week ago before they started yellowing this bad I watered with nutes and fert, assume measured everything correctly, I'm tellin' you I felt like Walter White during that watering.

So recap, 1 or 2 guys doing great, the rest looking poorly, Ph is decent. I'm watering like I should be, temp stays nice, airflows ok, lights are as good as their gonna get for now, all is adequate.

I just watered yesterday and today found information that it may be a Nitro problem, so I'm wondering do i just go ahead and water again? or wait till they dry and probably die a little more, before I get that nitro in there.

Cant be this hard to get a weed to do it's selfish thing and take over.. :/

Some plants just don't make it sometimes. I'm on my first grow with bagseed, and I have 8 total plants. 1 was a mutant plant the entire time, and has just started coming around and finally looks like a weed plant. lol. Another was doing well, but is now very curly, and doesn't seem to be improving, and hasn't grown much in awhile. It's not dead yet, and still mostly green, but I don't expect much from it. My other 6 plants are growing like... well, weeds. They're getting bushy as fuck, and really filling out nicely. I'm just hoping they are females. It would be devastating to have to throw out my nicest plants because they're dudes.

Daaang got me, I didn't even think about that whyyyy!? You do all this planning and overlook the simplest thing. So yellowing from the bottom up could a sign of over watering? Also do you have any suggestions on how to break up the soil with the welfare of the roots in mind? I mean I can get the top but I fear the roots may be caked with soil, I would imagine that could make for a longer wetter time...

Dont mess with your soil. At this point, it is what it is. Every plant from seed is different. Some eat and drink more than others. There's no "one size fits all" approach.

A quick death happpened my last grow. I run two generations of six plants. One was in veg, they're about 12", trained, looking great, getting ready to go to flower. I water them for the stretch, go to bed, come down next morning and one is wilting. Badly. Like it got cut in half and the stem can't move moisture anymore. That evening, it's leaves and branching are drooped completely, leaves tacoing up, dead for all intents and purposes. Gone in less than 24 hours. Here sisters, that shared the same watering, are unaffected and I take those five to harvest no problem. But that one plant will always bug me. What the hell happened to her? I tossed all that soil out in my lawn and threw the plastic container away.

G's that would bug the hell outta me too, but I guess you can't let it gotta move on. It's just so crazy that you can do all these great things for them and there's still that chance that freak chance. May she rest in peace (just so you know I actually typed out "piece" absentmindedly lol). I actually lost one bubblegum and one bag that really didn't even go anywhere it sprouted only one of the two baby leaves weird. but then again it was bag so..

Thanks for the insight, every bit of info helps. Don't just check one and base your watering off of one dry plant,and thank you so much for pointing that rookie watering mistake out. I was even sifting the top of the soil on all pots and I noticed one was way dryer than the rest buuut I was still gonna water em all lol damn. Thanks guys love this site!

If the genetics are poor, then a bunch of seeds will all look and respond very differently. Most strains have a couple of phenotypes, so there will be some differences, but often they all even out later on.

Without knowing what you're actually doing to these plants, it's impossible to tell you whether you have a nutrient problem or an overwatering problem or anything else. Often times, the symptoms of these problems look similar to each other, but if you apply the wrong remedy you can end up with a worse situation.
