Why won't they bud?? Help please!!

why won't my plant bud??

I grew from seed a few months ago it's my first time doing it and wanted just a couple of plants cos I have chronic pain and dont want to go to drug dealer plus the cost I dunno if I should be expecting buds any time soon??
 
Are you sure it's fem? It should start to show its sex in a couple of weeks after being in a 12/12 cycle.
 
Yeah two plants I'm 100% sure both females if you zoom in pic you should see where the leaves are growing looks female I think
 
The weathers not been great but it seemed to be growing pretty well I topped them cos I wanted them to grow bushy rather than long dunno if I've Ruined it by doing this or if I should be more patient

I hate to differ with you, but 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark has nothing to do with marijuana budding. What I mean is, indoors or light dep we use the 12 hour standard, as that is the amount of dark that just about guarantees all cannabis will flower. Genetics determine the number of hours of dark threshold.
 
Loads of little leaves are growing on stem Is this the first stage before it buds ? Thanks for advice I'm a bit new at all this
 
I just snapped a couple of pics for you. First is a plant at day 5 since I flipped indoors and second is at day 16 for reference on how quickly it happens.

May I ask how you are providing a dark period? Are you bringing that pot inside and putting them in a closet or outbuilding?

Your first pic looks like how my plant looks just now so a few weeks I should expect some buds??
 
light cycles matter. Too many hours of sun and it will veg. Too little hours of sun and it will start to bud no matter how old the plant is provided it is female. That's why people go 12/12 from seed. Maybe it might start at 13/11 but 12/12 is the norm.
