Will it work.??

Ok so I have a 1000watt hps that I never gets to use only sometimes until my room get over 84 so I want to put that beast to use, I don't have enough money to but the air cooled Hood and inline fans right mow so I was wondering......... Can I use my hps in the garage without it getting to hot in the garage... I got 4 fans, 2 small one and 2 huge commercial fans that are used in warehouses... The room which I use now is a regular bedroom in the corner and with the cfls on the temp stay at 74 max but when I turn on the hps and leave the door open temp are at 84-87 Max witch I don't like at all only usin the two small fans.... Sooooo can I use the hps in the garage which the temps are at 75f and like raise the garage like 3in so air gets out and in.... Do y'all think I can pull it off.??

Well I'll use my gerage as a example. Right now it's 47 outside. Temp in side are 70 after running 2 1000's most of the smell is trapped in the gerage. I open the door and bring in freash air and you can smell it from about 100 yards down wind. Dosnt bother me nobody is that close to me. And I have windows in mine so any light can be seen at night. Not worried about that ether I blocked them out. Now when sommer comes my garage gets around 120 without the lights on. How are you going to cool it? Door wide open or a a/c that is making more heat as it cools? How are you going to contain the smell? And most people store shit in the garage that will kill the plants let alone might catch fire. And dont forget about rats or mice that might be in there. Not trying to say it's a bad idea but there is alot more to think about then just putting the lights in there and placing the plants under it like you do inside the house. check the link in my signature what i did was built an 8x8x8 room in my garage with 2x4s and a roll of poly though mine was air cooled and had an window ac unit i still had temp problems in the summer check it though cause i started in the garage just like your talking about see how i ended up

He can't aford a air-cooled hood or a fan at this time. So building a room isn't a option.

i understand that part i couldnt at first either thats why i said check my journal and see what i did becaose i started the same way and worked my way through it and by the way to build my room only cost a max 100 bucks it was just 25-30 2x4s and a 10x100 ft roll of panda film (black&white poly)
