I have 2 cfl lights 19w a piece if i use them will they work for growing untill i get a bigger lamp? Actually i have 3

no you need 5-10 times that light power.

what 60 watts is good enough .

YES IT WILL WORK, i used 2 18w cfl to veg my first grow and then flowerd with 400hps, good results,

i veg now with 4 18w cfl, 2xcool white 2xwarm white, n flower with 400hps with great results.

its when the plants are flowering ide deffo get more light!!!

a tip when using cfl is always keep the bulb about 2 inches away from top of plants, no more than 4 inches, ggod luck.

se the plant in my avtor, that was vegged for 5wks with 4 x 18w cfl n flowerd with 400w hps and they were fucking massive, im talking 7ft, i had to lst the bastards. hudge buds 2. it can b done fella.

u can totaly veg them with that amount of light m8, just keep the bulbs 2 inches away from top of plants at all times, ide start with 2weeks 24/0, then 2-3 weeks 18/6 then flower.

Only thing is if u flower with the same amount of light it will take much longer and ur yeild will be rubbish, if u can get a 250 or 400w hps ul get great results, inother words u can veg with low watt cfl but to flower u should realy have more light!!
