Has anyone else tried Willie Nelson? Holy shit its badass. Got some from a fellow grower last night. The wife and I smoked 1 bowl at 9:00. We had the whole house cleaned by 11:00. Very very very very heady high. Great buzz that seamed to get better as the high went on. Tasted almost lemony on the exhale. I took the first hit off the bong and took a good long rip. It was almost like it quadrupled is volume while it was in my lungs. It took me 4 or 5 coughs to get all the smoke out of my lungs. I would bet anyone you can't hold this shit in.

So far this is my favorite smoke ever. Great sativa high. Great taste.

As will I now. Dude it is fucking awesome. I don't know anyone who wouldn't like that shit. It's like being a kite. That's the best I can do to describe it.

Sweet. Do you know how long it flowered??

On the package it states 11 to 13 weeks flowering time. That's a long time.
 
Be careful. You can get addicted to buying seeds.... Ha!

Once this is done and gone, I'll start a Willie. Though, I'm considering a summertime gorilla grow somewhere. LOL

I've heard some good things about this strain. Apparently its namesake loves it. I intend to buy Willie Nelson and Skunk #1 for my first commercial seed order. I am still honing my craft on bagseed grows. With any luck, I'll place my order in the next 12 months.
 
I am definitely getting some of those seeds. Dr chronic is out. I don't see them on the website anymore. But you can go to reefermanseeds.com. I think I will buy them from him anyway. He is the breeder who came up with the strain.
 
There are 2 seedbanks selling willie nelson seeds.. One is Reeferman, one is Barney's.. Reeferman Collective is the original breeder of Willie Nelson. When the breeder left Reeferman he brought his "clones" to Barney's... The original mother and father plants remained with reeferman... Barney's version of Willie Nelson made a more stabilized cross with a G-13 plant, so the Barney's is not pure sativa version, the Reeferman version is pure sativa..

Since reeferman uses lots of landrace strains, its harder to find a gem with his 10 packs, but its a true sativa. Barney's version you will find gem's easier, but they are partly indica and not the heady Sativa that Reeferman sells.

Barney's Willie Nelson is the one that won awards at the Cannabis Cup in 2005..
