Hi guys I'm new to the forums here and I have a few questions about my grow setup. I started growing with the intent to grow just a few plants for me and a family members and had little interest in investing any real money. After I started reading about ph levels, growrooms, plant genetics etc I realized this was an art form that I wanted to know everything I could about. I got myself a nice little 4x4x7 grow tent and did some research before choosing an xml 350 from advanced led. I'm in the middle of my first grow using CFLs and my light will be here later on today and very excited about it, the problem is I don't know how to use it. so my questions are :
1. How far do I keep the light from my plants when using a full spectrum led?
2.can my seeds start with the veg lights on my led or is it too strong (should I use cfl for the seedlings for a few days)
3.when flowering do I use both flower and veg mode together or just the flower mode?
4.I notice some of the colas on my plant are being covered by leaves (after topping) should I trim these leaves so more light can get to the cola or will that be harmful in the flowering state?
5.I'm told my leds have some intensity dials up top that effect light intensity/color does anyone have some suggestions on how these should be set?
Thank you guys for taking time to read my questions and any help would be great.
