yellow leaves crispy edges and bugs

My plant has had leaves turning yellow ranging in size and randomly falling off since its birth however now I have some of the bigger leaves turning completely yellow and falling off while the tips of some of the others are turning yellow some crispy and brown. I found a little black bug that either fly's or jumps and tiny yellowish orange bugs which i presume are spider mites. Now my questions is without any pics since I don't have a camera does anybody have ANY idea what could be the death of all my leaves and yellowing of the tips on the leaves? I feed my plant nothing but bottled water and the ph is correct 6.5-7. kept outdoor.
