6/12 limit...Dispensaries not allowed in entire county....OK on local growers with grow ops to building code and all paperwork perfect. That mean all workers are getting 1099 forms, every penny in and out accounted for, seperate bank accounts, collective paperwork with at least 1 patient per 10 plants, no cash, no guns, no other drugs. Some people have questioned why my 20k show cost 80k to startup. Part of it was making damn sure we complied with local codes.
I know a guy who got raided here with several hundred plants. They didn't arrest him or take the plants and gear. But, the code violations would cost more money to fix than he had. We're talking engineered drawings of the entire op and TI submitted to the City for plan check. All electrical, HVAC, and plumbing performed by licensed specialaty contactors (generals cannot do these). The fire suppression is the killer. That needs to be engineered then approved by the fire marshall. Then, you have to install the system...which may include buying a special permit to shut down the existing system in your building to tie in your building. Then, there's the Fire Life Safety requirements....
Bottom line, you can grow here without too much fear of legal problems. But, it will be far more expensive than other areas. Furthermore, if they do decide to file charges, this county has a 95% conviction rate...and they hand out big prison sentences.
So come out out and build a grow. Just bring a buttload of cash for the build and have at least 50k in reserve for legal defense if it comes to that.
