your oppinions first cfl grow (alot of pics)

okay sooo i have 1 68 watt 2700k, 3 26 watt 2700k,1 30 watt 3000k and 2 14 watt daylight cfls. i have one female in flower but its been on 12/12 for a month and has had pistles for a while and they havnt swollen into buds witch i think is way behind. could it be sativa and thats why? and i noticed a film or somthing around the stalk and seems to kill the leaves from the bottom up slowly they sag and turn yellow. i even tryed putting a cfl down there to see if it would help and it still died. and i have repoted 4 times now soo i dont think its that. but its still not as big as a 5 gal bucket. and latly some of the branch leaves have curled in but i think thats bcus of not enough light. but the plant seems healthy it grows pretty fast its probly 4 1/2 months. and it has purplish pink lines up the stems. but dosent realy smell to stong untill you rub a leaf and smell your finger. i hope for your oppinions and advise of what im doing wrong. thank you ill add rep too

when the lights are off is there any light leak?

every few days i end up showing sombody and i turn it on for a second and sometimes ill open and close the door to use the bathroom or wash my hands but its very little. some better pics >>>

do you have the lights on a timer? and when the lights are off even just seconds with the lights get turned back on are bad ..there needs to be no light at all when they sleep .. View attachment 1122173this is a cfl grow i did mouths ago and it was 16 days in to flowering

Yeah, you shouldn't interupt it's sleep cycle. It will make flowering take longer, and that's no good.

Your camera is pretty poor. It looks like a bad camera phone. You will probably get better response with clearer pictures.

You might do better with some shop-light hoods that direct the CFL light right at the plant. You can get them at HomeDepot for around $7 per hood. With just bare bulbs, half of the light is probably bouncing off the wall before it reaches the plant. Additionally, some plants do well with CFL, and some do horrible. If you have a strain that is slow to show it's gender, it might be a strain that does poorly with CFL.

About grasscity, do you get better response to posts on that site? Rollitup is kind of frustrating in peoples response time. However, it is the middle of August, so most people are enjoying the summer and not posting on Internet boards.

What is your PH? What are your temps? What soil are you using? We need more info to figure this out. I would say from the info you gave and the pics you need much more light and the constant re-potting has stressed her out. That plant is small as hell for 4 1/2 months.

the stem discoloring may be a nute deficiency npk and magnesium
also as jucebox said your ph can be a huje problem if not right

im not going to lie, it is very small for 4 1/2 months. it kinda reminds me of my forgotten outdoor this year. i guess what happened was i thought it wasnt going to germinate, soo i threw the soil randomly in my back yard, and i noticed it when it was about 18 inches. haha. now that i have actually tended to it, its 4 ft tall, and in its second week of flowering.

also, it has alright branching, for just cfls. definitely suggest getting your hands on an hps though. i had 2 clones as an experiment, just to see the difference between cfls and hps. and well lets just say the cfls came up short.
