harsh taste

I am a hash user from Pakistan. Been a user since 3 years and had a pleasant experience always. but recently my hash gets a weird taste and gets very harsh. Its stored in a cool dry place and in a glass jar. The taste is almost like gasoline or metal like. Can someone help? Its afghani hash.
