Progress added big fan and adjusted light added sponge bowl to try and raise humidity

So I recently made a micro grow box. I’m using a 7 way splitter with 5k 8.8w FEIT led bulbs, bought from Home Depot. My question is do these little LEDs need to be keep 18in away from you plants as well? Also I want to cut off the “Hood” I feel like its just for show and dimming my lights.
