Ok so setup me veg tent with 4 little ladies, in 3 gal pots.
Strains: greenhouse seeds medicine man, white widow, and baskets farm pineapple chunk revegging clone and a 8 ball kush also a revegging clone.

Soil/medium: coco and perlite

Lighting: 3x cxb3590 36v 6500k @ 1400 mah on a 50cm long heatsink. Currently on 18/6 light cycle.

Cooling: strapped two 12v fans together with some zip ties to secure them together ran on a apv12-12 in parallel. This is secured in the vent on the roof of the tent, blowing air into the tent and I have 2 vents open with light traps for passive cooling.

Nutrients: canna coco a+b with rhizo, cannazyme, pk 13-14, and I have a bottle of cal mag.

Temperature: at the moment it's pretty cold in my area around 14-20 degrees c, and my tent is about 23c at lights on and as low as 17 lights off.

Humidity: stays fairly stable at 55-60%.

Too heat these babies up I'm thinking of getting a small fan heater and putting it on a timer for like 5-10mins at a time to help keep it a bit warmer, anyone else have a better idea?

I'm also contemplating buying 2 more cobs since my driver is a 250w driver and can handle another 2 cobs. I would build a frame to mount to the existing heatsink and screw these 2 active cooled iceled 550s to that and mount the cobs ECT. What I'm wondering is would this possibly help my low temps and would this upgrade be beneficial for my veg space?

Oil filled radiator instead of a fan heater them things are dangerous
Okay but wouldn't a oil filled radiator take a while to warm up, and most of the heaters I see are 2000w or more for smallish ones. I would be better of adding more cobs I think? Is a night time temp of 17c bad for my plants coz I could have the dark cycle during the warmest part of the day to help keep temps a bit better

yeah i would add more cobs rather than a heater.but for now try putting a small fan over the lights blowing downward to see if you can gain heat from what you have already

Thanks for the replies, I've got 2 x 120mm pc fans strapped together and it's mounted above the lights blowing down over it and the plants, it causes enough air circulation and air movement for my babies atm, they are gently rustling about. I am pretty sure that air would be being heated up slightly, at least I hope :-) :-)

well if you needed more heat i think another fan up high moving air past the whole setup including that driver would do it.it appears those 2 pc fans would be just making sideways air flow, which would mostly rise up.unless you have some airholes in that heatsink for air to pass through?

Ye sorry I've got 2 120mm pc fans inside the roof of my tent blowing down past the heatsink and over my babies. And today one of my seedlings looks super droopy

ok so whats the temps up closer to the top of the tent ? if its warmer up top your not moving that air downwards like you think.or just raise the plants up to the heated area with a shelf or some type of table.or get a heat mat like vw said.but i just think using a heat mat or any other type of heater is silly, just use a hid at that point because all your effeciency from the cobs is gone once you start using heaters.move the whole setup to a warmer spot.close off all top vents, idk theres alot of ways to raise temps other than heaters.

Toss a cfl or incandescent bulb in for some cheap easy heat during lights on. Maybe you could spray paint them black if you need heat during lights off. Don't worry to much about efficiency, decreased yeild would be a bigger loss.

Ye that's what I was thinking man thanks for the info, I'll check the temps at the top and see if it's warmer if so I can try put some sort of shelf in there to support them like you said. I'll put my thermometer at the top and get back to you on the actual temps up there , I noticed my ladies are sitting at 24c atm is this still too cold for leds? Here's a pic my baby looks like she's overwatered but I Fed her 3 days ago??? And she started looking like this today

24c is good 25c is about perfect.the plant looks hungry, are you giving ample food with your waterings?coco does not have enough nutrition to keep plants looking good on its own and one of the benefits of it is you can water alot, like 2 x a day.you dont want to let it dry out, ever.what do you have on hand for growing these plants nute wise ?

I've got canna coco a+b/ rhizo/cannazyme / pk 13/14, and a bottle of cal mag. So far I've Fed with 8ml of each canna coco a+b to 1 gallon of water along with 10ml of rhizo, and 1ml of cal mag just incase, my ppms are at 450, my water that I use is from the tap with 125 ppm, should I raise my feed ppms?

Removed one of the vent fans and temp has risen to 25.5c - 26c. Plants looked droopy again so I Fed them with a 575 ppm nute feed, bumped up the canna a+b to 10ml of each per gallon from 8ml and kept the rhizo at 10ml a gallon
