in doubt, keep em higher, In my flower room, I always have some smaller plants in 1 gallon pots waiting to be sexed and they are sometimes 4-5 ft away from the lights and still do fine. So don't think they will grow faster if the light is super close... actually, try keeping it as far as can until mid- flower... you will thank me!

Okay thanks I will raise the lights to about 50-60cm above, they are about 35cm above atm, I was also thinking of swapping out one of the 6500k cobs with a 3500k , for some extra red, so it will be 2 x 6500 and 1 x 3500k, do you know if the 6500ks can be used alone for veg?

you got 3 cobs on this small bar!!?? I m telling you you should raise it to 1 meter over canopy for 2 weeks. yes swapping the middle one for 3500k is a great idea. I find optimum for vegging so far is 4-5000k but never tried 6500...

Okay awesome, and yes I have 3 on a tiny bar, lmao, ima raise it to a metre. And swap a cob out...

Foolishly bought 6500k w/o looking at spectral distribution charts and just assumed a higher Kelvin rating would be better....

So ima hope to supplement with lower Kelvin more red spectrum to hopefully balance it out

Please let us know how it works out. I just got some 5000K for my veg light if I knew they made 6500K I would have bought those instead........

I would just figure if not goes like the T5 bulbs they 500k and 6500 K will have more blue than the 3500 no?

My 6500k GE bulbs work wonderfully for veg I will soon see how the blue 600mh does too

well I thnkk the 3500s peak at like 80-90% blue and the 4000k + has 100% with less red the higher colour temp you go

Ok so today I raised the lights to about 60cm above canopy, gave them a flush with 5ml of each canna COCO a+b per gallon and 5ml per gallon of rhizo, came out at 400ppm.

Initial runoff in my coco read 925 ppm, so I dumped a few gallon thru them till they were back around 500ppm runoff. The water that came out was very dark, a lot like when I frst rinsed the coco.

Within 6 hours they looked like they had recoverd a bit.

I decided to give them their first foliar feed of 1ml per litre of rhizotonic and gave them all a good spray to help with stress.

Watch your watering habits, cold and wet conditions is a recipe for disaster..........turn off your exhaust if u must. bring the bar down IMO to about a foot away for warmth to the canopy

if you need to add heat further along=== add more cobs/hid/t5/watts,etc. and run at night

good luck
