Dabs making chest feel weird?

Okay so Ive been smoking weed for about two years now & have been dabbing heavy for about a year. For the past id say at least 6 months I’ve been basically smoking straight wax and no buds really at all. I usually only smoke pretty quality wax/shatter but about two weeks ago I got a gram of some wax that didn’t look, smell, or taste the best, it also had a lot of bubbles in it. As I stated dabbing the bad gram I started noticing I was developing a headache either above one of my eyes or in the back of my head, also the left side of my chest was kind of like pinching (not really that painful but definitely unpleasant) and like throbbing, I could feel my heart racing then slow down and what not. Ive also been experiencing my left arm twitching and feeling like little sharp sensations in my left leg. Since buying that bad gram two weeks ago I’ve have bought a few more g’s of wax (quality stuff I usually smoke) and I am still getting the same body feelings as I was with what I thought was just from a bad gram of oil. If I do just one dab the symptoms don’t seem to be that strong, but as I progress dabbing the feelings get worse. Like I said, I’ve been dabbing super heavy DAILY for at least 6 months now & I have never once felt like this until as of recently and its really sketching me out. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Does my body just need a break from dabbing or could it be something more serious? I know anxiety can play a part to but nobody knows their body better than themselves and no matter how much I try and not focus on the problem or say that its just me being crazy, it keeps coming back! So could it really be me just being paranoid or am I on to something. The last few days Ive kinda put dabbing to the side only doing like 1 or 2 all day and smoking regular weed instead and I don’t seem to get any of the symptoms (or at least not nearly as strong) when smoking buds. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

side note: Could it be my nail by chance? I have a borobook v4 quartz banger

You probably have too much cannabinoids built up in your system. Either that or you eventually developed a sensitivity to it. Many terpenes can cause problems like that. Terpenes are not harmless. Look up the negative effects of pinene for instance, a common major terpene in Cannabis. Nasty stuff really. It's essentially like smoking turpentine, which is mostly pinene.

Could also be some mold aflatoxins in it. Nobody actually washes their extracts with water, which would remove aflatoxins. I think your main problem though is that you inhaled crude plant resin daily for 6 months. Inhaling pure THC vapor would be one thing but inhaling a stew of resin compounds is just not advisable, at least not daily. I'd say this is your wake-up call that it's time to put down the pipe for a while. At the very least you almost certainly have extensive lung infection by bacteria. If I smoke Cannabis, just bud, daily for 3 weeks I will dependably get a tooth abscess. Then I stop and it gets better. THC suppresses the immune system and you eventually get an infection.

It's a sign you need to drink Jameson & smoke more.

Did you get sweaty palms or feet also by any chance?

Realistically, I've no idea. I'd get a chest X-ray to be sure.
I'd a collapsed lung a few years ago & I thought it was a chest infection getting worse.

@BobCajun is full of shit, just from my own personal experience. Take what he says with multiple grains of salt, I usually laugh his posts away...
@qwizoking what you say?

@OP Sounds like you smoked some extract that was dirty, there may have been butane trapped in those bubbles. Even "purged" extracts can be dirty, who knows what was sprayed on the bud or how's it's been handled...

Also, in own experience, too many dabs gives me an asthmatic type of response. I can feel the bronchospasm and reduced volume of each breath after too many.

As a medical professional I'd tell the OP to get a chest XR and an EKG done stat, maybe blood work too, D-Dimers and Troponin, and a CBC, LOL. Not sure what your age is. You've just described chest pain, difficulty breathing, left sided sensations in the arm and legs. You fit criteria for a cardiac workup, and a look at those lungs for anything out of the ordinary.

I recommend you see a doctor.

Hope you feel better...

as a layman, i'd say he's built up a tolerance and simply needs to smoke more.

and I second the recommendation for Jameson although I prefer Bushmills.

Except he's been dabbing like this for months with no issue until the bubbly batch showed up. It was a bunk batch, IMO.

Please tell me more about all your extractions and research. Make sure you post a thread about it. Thanks!
You thought wrong.
Care to provide a citation to your assertion that THC suppresses the immune system?
Op I would go get some tests ran... sounds like a mini stroke... how old are you?
I hate to be the one to recommend testing, but come on, the guy mentioned acute symptoms that shouldn't be ignored.

I certainly wouldn't take advice from @BobCajun , the Google scientist.

Honestly it just sounds like you got too high man. I've experienced so many body sensations while ripped off dabs. Just take it easy. I've been there when you freak out because you're feeling something and that feedback loop in your brain just sets off a fight or flight response which ends up with feeling like you're having an anxiety attack. If you feel all of this stuff completely sober then yeah you might want to get checked out.

Sounds like dirty dabs. I'd get similar effects every now and then. Pins and needles in my chest, across my shoulders and down my arms. Supposedly from butane still in the extract. I started extracting and purging my own extracts because I was worried about quality, and no more problems. I washed and re-purged some dab I had and I got all kinds of impurities out of it. I've been told multiple times my shit is the best tasting and smoothest extract people have had. It's all about patience, no quick purges, no excessive heat, slow ands low, just like BBQ. Wait till I get a closed loop system and vac oven ..heh heh.

Total BS. No amount of water is going to remove mycotoxins from an oil-based extract. Thats not how mycotoxins work, it takes extreme heat to kill some mycotoxin.

Surprised no one mention that the Oil could be contaminated with pesticides like avid or eagle20...very commonly used amongst shitty growers just in it for the money. Also, carcinogenic....

"Aflatoxins are crystalline substances, freely soluble in moderately polar solvents such as chloroform, methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide, and dissolve in water to the extent of 10-20 mg/litre." source

Okay, it does look like they have very low water solubility. You got me that time. However, how much aflatoxin could be in there? Probably microgram amounts. So maybe water would wash it out.

The OP probably just has a lung infection btw.

You arent talking about simply dissolving aflatoxin in water. You are talking about rinsing oil based extracts with water to remove aflatoxin...first grade science, oil and water do not mix.
Trichomes are oil based, if they are contaminated with mycotoxin there is nothing you can do that to save it.

Oh, so if I dissolved an extract in a water immiscible solvent, like ethyl acetate, and added water and mixed them together and then let the layers separate and repeated that several times with more water it wouldn't wash out the aflatoxin?
