Make Liberalism Great Again

How would my vote in California for Clinton have mattered?

She didn't earn my vote because she's a corporatist establishment democrat who works for corporations, not the American people

What beliefs do I hold that you could point to that support the "alt-right"? Name one
I just read your diatribe. Alt right is all over it. "kick social justice warriors to the curb". As if not objecting to hate speech is the solution to Trump? Fuck that, what you suggest is desensitizing to hate speech. I'll wear the SJW label proudly and since you gave me that I'll repay you with the alt right label.

Also your argument we should stop objecting to racist and sexist actions because it annoys working class whites in Ohio. Umm. racism and sexism should be confronted. I think you said it but you don't seem to believe it.

I didn't say that, he's strawmanning my actual position in order to strengthen his. I said identity politics is annoying to middle America and that makes it an ineffective tactic towards a winning strategy, that's why democrats who've adopted it, like Hillary Clinton, lose in large numbers in those places. Working class people who are worried about their jobs do not give a fuck about gender pronouns or safe spaces, so when the democratic party chooses to adopt this bullshit onto their platform, they lose voters. Protecting rights is more important than protecting feelings.

Hold up with that. Do you understand what would happen if the EC were discarded? Civil war #2. The most populated cities would win elections. Do you think that would sit well in fly-over America?
The problem is the number of votes a state recieves based on population. If each state had 1 vote per 100,000 persons, it would be more fair. As it sits, little bitty podunk shit holes elected trump. And the DNC with their premature coronation...
You realise one vote per 100,000 is just a per capita representation of the popular vote?

That is the actual canard: racism and sexism, and the social justice warrior takeover of the democratic party that calls everything and anything they disagree with "racist" or "sexist". A significant portion of the population are fed up with it. We've seen the same sentiment expressed at RIU. If you call everything racist, eventually the impact is lost on things that actually are racist. Eventually people just hear the racist criticism and chalk it up to liberal bias or media manipulation or whatever.
Your position is that SJW annoying racists and sexists is the reason Trump won. Am I wrong?

You also say that economic anxiety is the main reason Trump won. So, which is it?

I agree that Clinton didn't address economic issues that affect working class america in the heartland. I also agree that the millions of people in the heartland aren't raving racists or sexists but they voted for one. I don't agree that hate speech should be tolerated. Only a small minority actually commit these socially disgusting acts and speech yet they affect a larger community for the worst.

It doesn't have to be either or. Why can't liberals denounce hateful rhetoric AND champion ideas that the average American cares about like jobs, taxes, etc.

The point of an election is to win, not placate to everyone and their feelings.

Aping the alt right isn't a very bright idea. The GOP already has that ground. I wouldn't want it anyway.

Obama took many of those contested counties. What you are effectively saying is the weather we had yesterday is probably the same we'll have tomorrow and by extension will be the same weather forever.

Still endorsing the electoral college that has given us 5 Republican presidents against the popular vote?

Youve basically turned into a Republican that wants free shit, like Flaming retard Pie.
That'd be the vote by county across the country. It's so red partly because so many regular people who make up independents are tired of the PC culture bullshit those on the extreme left are pushing

To try to twist that into meaning that racism and sexism don't matter is patently disingenuous.

This is exactly where I'm at. I'm objecting to this idea that "social justice warriors" should stand down. In fact, the term "SJW" is an attempt to mock and marginalize white people who support our brothers and sisters who are different from the majority.

But, yes, I'm in total agreement that the Democratic Party failed to learn a key lesson when they took out George Bush 1st with the slogan "it's the economy stupid". Clinton was not a good candidate for the working classes because of her detached attitude towards our issues of decline in economic well being. Let's take this lesson but not become evil like the GOP has become towards minorities.

those red areas are mostly just empty space.

the blue areas contain 80% of the population.

here is a cartogam to help you and your fellow men's rights activists understand.

This election was about keeping Trump out.

They keep missing that point.

I wonder what Super Scalia 3.0 "Trump Premium Edition" pieces of shit he's gonna appoint (and saddle us with) to the Supreme Court for the rest of their (no doubt) unnaturally long life.
