I will be putting more in there, I have a 2x4x5veg tent with a mars300, I only had this 3x3x6 and roleandro since august. I grow in 5 gal DWC, mainlined to 8 colas. I have a 2 week old Northern Lights vegging now, next is a white widow that i will plant early january
Is the NL from Nirvana too? If it is it's fire smoke. I will be popping more next run.

4 x CXB3590 @ 1750 mA, 3500k. It's working well for me. The grow closet is 3' x 3' x 5.5'.
That looks great!!
I reckon like I have, you're going to have the urge to take those diffusers off for that extra bit of light :D~
I also had gnats go in and die on inside of the diffuser in my veg area.

microMsg.1482408946493.jpgBecause I was so anxious, I screwed up. Remember to get the wires right on your pots. I used the wrong two and ended up with clockwise dim - and anti clockwise for brighter. Also unless the pot is a true 100k anything less and it's not going to give you 100% .
Luckily I left room for a dim on off switch

Not totally DIY, but a nice little Mars Hydro hack, IMHO. Pulls 208w at the wall and should be good enough for keeping plants ticking along and early vegging. Time will tell I suppose.

2nd hand Mars hydro = £60
8 x CLU048's = £64

I already had the rest of the materials required on hand and the conversion took about 3 hours, would've been quicker if I'd had some small self tappers

EDIT...........Its runnin much cooler than when it had all the mono's on it, which I was worried about, but I've defo got a little extra capacity on the drivers. I may add either a smaller cob to each driver, or a small cluster of mono's

I really like these Manual Reset Temperature Switches.....
Once it gets too hot, stays off until you reset or check the circuit.....that's why I won't ever use those Temp switches you have....liked them initially, but they can come back ON and that is a no no in circuit building imho....they won't stop a fire....

What is the part number for these?

Put a resistor inline with the pot.....

IMG_0034.JPG IMG_0036.JPG IMG_0035.JPG IMG_0037.JPG IMG_0033.JPG My first actual DIY led finished.
Inspired by @brahbbyB 's Bridgelux EB Series Build thread, I ordered some parts and within a few days it was built - it all happened so fast I'm pretty proud of it.

The strips were shipped bent like a flexi strip, so digikey is replacing all the strips no charge and I get to keep these - it looks like they still work mostly 8-)

3000k
4000k
5000k
5700k

Arranged for experimental growth testing.

You can see where three of the 8led strings don't light

I did something similar a couple years back using 4 each @ 22w 5000/3000k t8 led tubes to cover 2 x 4. It worked pretty well

I would tighten them up (closer together by at least half)
