New Beginnings for Massachussetts and I

3 plants under each 600 watt. Got the clones on Jan 25th. First two weeks temps in basement were 60 so I was expecting delay. Had them under 250 watts of cfl till I got my 600'S bout a week ago. They are lst like crazy but are about 10-12 inches high with tons of budsites. Pistils everywhere!
Using GH Flora 5ml micro, 8ml grow, 5ml bloom, all per gallon. So in my 20 gal res I put in 100ml micro
160ml grow and 100ml bloom. Plus calmag and hydroguard. Thoughts?
With Flora 3 pt. ,I usually go with 3/4 recommended for veg, or you can jump to Lucas Formula 8micro and 16 bloom per gal. with 20 gal. res. you can use addback method ( until replaced 1/2 total) then change res. so after replacing 10 gal. (change Res.)- Daily- Add water as needed, then drain 1 gal. mix nutes, pour back in, wait awhile, check PPM & PH( I've been targeting 7-800 PPM for no burn/no def. solution- so far, no issues). Cal mag is primarily for RO water, but if stems are red/purple, can use small amount but as Bos said contains Nitrogen- same with grow nute( thats why Lucas doesn't use- theres enough in the Micro

1/3 of the Auto Bubblicious that started flowering way before her sisters. She decided she needed to push up a new cola after flowering for 2 weeks so the rest of her has a bit o' time to go yet. Nothing but issues with this first grow but the fact that I'm set to harvest a few oz makes me content. Next one gets cut as soon as her soil dries out, then the rest of this girl gets the axe. Third one went into a second stretch veg stage after being stunted, (nute & ph issues, light burn, bad lst) and literally doubled the size of the other 2. She's just about half way through flower.

Going with the bag drying method. Been in there since thurs night and sitting at 70% RH today. May go into jars tonight at this rate. Perfect timing as my Bodeva packs will arrive today. :bigjoint:

Proof you can do most everything wrong and be successful. Just weeds. :hump:

Is that the way to go? Should I be using the Lucas formula? I have read about it quite a bit but with so many different opinions, I haven't quite formed my own yet...especially since I have no experience using Lucas formula.

Just got 2 qb288's with heatsinks. Waiting on the driver, then I'll decommission the blurple.

Driver will be an hlg-320-c2800a. So should be able to drive them to 150 watts each safely.

Still debating cutting them in two and using 4 boards instead of two.

Canna butter snickerdoodles.

Now we see if male plants make butter. Never had an edible before.

Used the everclear decarboxylation process. Then 6 hrs in the crock pot.

That stuff was dark. I didn't mind the earthy taste but I am a little worried about strength. How much powdered male leaf would be right for a lb of butter?

I used 1/3 that amount. If my process worked as well as yours then my cookies would have about 6 mg of thc each. How many mg is a good dose? 3 cookies?

I may have a buzz already from licking the butter pan.
I mean, we used a different method... I'm super into finding out if one is better for future baking. For me, a friggin lightweight, 1mg is a little high, 2mg is 'no driving' high. My friend is 50mg for a calm high, 70mg for 'no driving' high. It's all about finding your amounts. How much do you smoke when you smoke?

Both Micro and grow have Nitrogen & is usually the Quick burn method- He eliminates the grow, because the Micro covers all and using all 3 + Calimagic is increasing the odds of burn- I use it at a midpoint( transision between veg & bloom to finish) and worked great

My K.i.s.s. Method for hydro- !/4 strength while young- once 4 nodes, 1/2 and gradually up to 3/4( no more) + hydroguard from day 1( shoot for 750- 850 PPM avg on 5 scale.) switch to Lucas @ pre-flower(8 micro/ 16 bloom per gal.)- no burn, no deficiencies- just good, healthy plants- autos, just let them ride and photos- flip @ 1/2 height you want to finish at( based on tent and lights). Have 15-20 bud sites on each of 4 plants(photos) so should hit 1 lb. this grow. Drinking & eating in bal.( 1 gal. per 5 gal. bucket per day with Ph & PPM in balance)

Upcoming quantum boards, waiting on the numbers, but look very promising

Watch video on em
growmau5 did a livestream today with vitaly. They aren't QB's, but are multi diode boards like quantums. The interesting thing is the mix of colors. About 2/3 white, 1/3 pure red, and then a much small number of of far red, blue, and uv. I guess plinkle is the new blurple. ;)

He has controllers that will let you balance the colors/intensity and even do sunrise/sunset cycles.

Should be an interesting alternative to the all white QB's.

But, it figures I just bought two of the QB's. I guess if that isn't enough light I can add one of these up the middle. ;)

I love my new cobs. What I am looking into is UV. Anyone know if a 26w reptile uvb would be if any help? T5? How long do you run them. Wouldn't want to burn the plants.

Don't waste your money on the reptile bulbs ... unless you have a terrarium. Hortilux
PowerVEG FS+UV 2 or 4 foot bulbs are the way to go.
