And now for this commercial message from one of our sponsors,

Do you have a problem with obstinate nations launching missile attacks against your territory? Tomahawks ruining your breakfast routine and increasing your pothole repair budget?
Well, look no further, we have just the kitchen utensil you NEED to get your day back on track to victory!

KRET 2.0...the latest in jamming technology from Mother Россия MIC LLC Inc.

Now you may ask, "how does this differ from KRET 1.0?"
I'm so glad you asked that, Jimmy. You see, KRET 1.0 was made for shock troop advancement in attack operations, and meant to be mounted on helicopters, to create a localized blinding effect on radar defense systems.
But the new and improved, KRET 2.0 makes Iron Dome look like Tin-foil Helmet.
With KRET 2.0, you can now create an "A2/AD bubble" to protect your entire coastline from pesky, military-grade mosquitoes, leaving you free to deal with the hordes of cockroaches already in your "house", unmolested by the hands of Neocon puppets.

But does it really work? Well, Bobby-Bob al Ahmedoodi, don't take my word for it, listen to the words of one of our unhappy "customers":

The US destroyer USS Donald Cook, equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles entered the neutral waters of the Black Sea on April 10, 2014. The purpose was a demonstration of force and intimidation in connection with the position of Russia in Ukraine and Crimea. The appearance of American warships in these waters is in contradiction of the Montreux Convention about the nature and duration of stay in the Black Sea by the military ships of countries not washed by this sea. In response, Russia sent an unarmed bomber Su- 24 to fly around the U.S. destroyer. However, experts say that this plane was equipped with the latest Russian electronic warfare complex. According to this version, Aegis spotted from afar the approaching aircraft, and sounded alarm. Everything went normally, and the American radars calculated the speed of the approaching target. But suddenly all the screens went blank. Aegis was not working any more, and the rockets could not get target information. Meanwhile, Su-24 flew over the deck of the destroyer, did battle turn and simulated a missile attack on the target. Then it turned and repeated the maneuver. And did so 12 times.

So...what are you waiting for? Pick up the NATO Hotline, and call immediately. Call in the next 15 minutes, and you'll receive a free BUK AA missile launcher with your order, but don't delay...stocks are limited, and you know we can't do this all day.

BUY...

NOW!!!

Well done, sir:clap:

Assad was already winning the war. Why would he risk international condemnation and possible intervention in a war he was already winning by using chemical weapons against civilians?
now you're repeating the same empty-headed conspiracy theory crap that people like ginwilly were spewing back in 2013 which is directly contradicted by our intelligence community under both the obama administration and the trump regime.

At the end of the day, one shouldn't forget that "war" is a "racket" at some level, always.
Syria is a marketing platform for Military contractors...it is an in vivo laboratory. What better way to advertise one's MIC production capabilities?
I would not be surprised if this incident turns out be a literal commercial for Russian tech.

Answer that then
You'll have to ask him why he would do that. It did come a few days after Rumps mouthpieces said there was no need for regime change and talks of US alliance with Assad. We don't know what was said at those meetings. Maybe the answer is in transcripts of those meetings. I don't know.

Look at the list of subscribers to this false flag conspiracy theory: Alt right, Alex Jones, Russia, ttystik

I mean, come on man, just because somebody said it doesn't make it true. It smells and reads like fake news. Like pizzagate. I'll stand behind my statement that we don't know much. Listening to accounts of people who survived it, they said it was an air strike. I'll wait for more information and change my mind if credible information shows up. Until now, the people repeating this are not reliable for information. This is fake news.

Doesn't change the fact that Rump launched a military strike without a strategy or preparation for the consequences. That he did it without notifying Congress and Congress is just rolling over without defending its constitutional role is very concerning. The false flag rumor is unnecessary and distracts from the very concerning issue of a rogue president who unilaterally commits acts war on other governments.

So you can't answer a simple basic question?

i already answered it and you simply asked it again, dumbass.
So Assad would risk international condemnation and possible intervention in a war he was already winning by using chemical weapons against civilians because "chemical weapons are brutal and efficient"..

That doesn't answer my question. That's why I asked it again

The fact that chemical weapons are brutal and efficient does not answer why Assad would use them in a war he was already winning knowing the only possible outcome would be international condemnation/intervention. He's already winning the war, why wouldn't he just keep doing what he's doing and not use chemical weapons and keep the international community quiet?

US mainstream media, the Trump regime and YOU are all in agreement.

My question is why did the Russians allow 94 Tomahawks to strike a country they're occupying?

They've enough and perfectly adequately equipped StoA missile batteries that could have destroyed the Tomahawks pretty easily, why did not they shoot down the missiles flying towards them? (In what could have been a massive nuclear first strike)

I've no liking for Assad at all (but I think Middle East dictators are a necessary evil for the most part) but why would he shit on his near-victory?

He's almost won and removing him from power wasn't even suggested anymore.
It was 59 missiles, that's an official count.

It's much harder to shoot down cruise missiles than you suggest; no air defense system is perfect.

Still, for the airfield to be operational the next day suggests that our 'strike' was more about theater than tactics.

Those missiles cost more than $60M just to purchase. After you layer all the logistical costs associated with maintaining and supporting them, it's closer to $200M.

No significant damage.

The russians weren't upset. The syrians weren't upset.

Kind of tells you a lot right there.

Those missiles weren't "purchased". They were built 40 years ago. They've been sitting on a shelf ever since. They don't have a missile store that you roll down to and pick out what you want. It doesn't work that way.

Don't tell that to Raytheon. They still build them and the military buys a lot of them. If you think the ones fired were running the equivelant of trs-80, you are sadly behind the times.

This will be thoroughly investigated and the truth will come out.

At the very least, the official line from America doesn't pass the smell test.

The warehouse story doesn't either; sarin gas is unstable and it's stored in two components, one of which is isopropyl alcohol- which of course burns very nicely when bombed.

The Trump organization owns stock in Raytheon.

Bombing for profit.
