bernie sanders: regressive

I told you that as well and gave you solid reasoning- which are documented why.

This has nothing to do with someone's ability to read.

Why can't you accept the truth- the Clinton machine suppressed the vote, plain and simple through manipulation and cheating.

'We must bring them to heel'- Hillary Clinton

She brought them to heel all right.
"The Clinton machine brought them to heel", but not you. Not me (I voted for Sanders in the primary), not the millions who did vote for her. Somehow, you have to reconcile that black voters in the south were disproportionately "brought to heel". How is there not racism in that kernel of propaganda?

You don't consider the alternative, which is African American voters chose who they thought was best.

You make excuses that assume the African American voter can't read and interpret the news as well as you can. It's been explained before why there can be the same information available and different conclusions drawn based upon life experience. One of them is that African Americans face more challenges than you and your weak minded Bernie forever crowd.

How about just reading the article I posted?
too long, didn't read. I value my time. How about considering the fact that Bernie lost because he couldn't persuade enough people to vote for him.

How about posting up facts and a coherent conclusion in a paragraph or two rather than a link to a long multi-page whinge? You could have pulled up something pertinent from the article and posted the link in case I am interested.

Sanders has no support in Congress anymore because his initiatives fail and make things worse for the truly progressive side of the party.

The original question was 'what was Sanders' and I replied..well you know:wink:

Yes. There is no plan for racism. It's links back to tribalism and culture. Can't change it no how; no way.
You are correct in that people do tend to associate with others that are like them. It's a matter of wanting to be comfortable in a private social setting. Just like I don't to hang out with motor heads who think that tearing up the land is great fun. Or golfers. Boring, boring boring.

The difference is, economic and social prosperity is curtailed by racist bias in many in not all parts of this country, not to mention police murders. Also voting rights are suppressed along racial lines. While people can associate however they like, the right to suppress based upon race, gender, sexual preference, and religion has to be defended against. It's not just who we have drinks with at the end of the day.

who are you talking to? you're saying i said shit when it was someone else and I've already given you citation. you don't wish to read..too long..precious time etc.

The discussion about naming your children has 1) been made into a documentary 2) shown to set the child up for failure as an adult..yet you'll still do it..why?

I'm talking to you. You absolutely said the Clinton machine brought "them" to heel when the question asked of you was: Why did southern voters choose Clinton over Bernie in large enough numbers to literally end Bernie's chances of winning the nomination? "Them" in this context are southern AA voters.

So, yes, I'm accusing you of the racist belief that southern black voters can't read and understand the news as well as a Bernie baby. Stop with the invective and get down to explaining yourself if you think I'm wrong in my interpretation of your racist statements.

I'm also accusing @Padawanbater2 and @ttystikk of the same belief. You all claim Bernie didn't get enough media attention before the primaries and so, of course, Clinton won. That claim is false and I've cited reports to back up the falsehood of your claim. Southern Democratic voters, who are disproportionately black did get the same information you all had when you all fell in love with the Bern and me too. They chose differently. Why is that?

So, tell me, given the fact that you had access to the same information about Bernie that every person in the United States had, why did the Southern African American Democratic Party voter choose Clinton? By a wide margin they chose Clinton.

I think you dismiss the intelligence of black voters to choose in their own interest. White man's burden and all that.

I think you're looking to start a fight where none exist.

Please don't respond.

My head hurts from your nonsensical word vomit.

Well then, there's no point in discussing this further. Your mind is made up and no facts will change it.

If I say I think white conservatives are stupid for not accepting Sanders message, you would agree with me

If I say I think black moderates are stupid for not accepting Sanders message, you attribute it to racism when there's been no evidence of said racism other than your accusation of it

You say that because black moderates support the candidate you support and because you have no substantive progressive response to counter Sanders platform. It would be almost as dumb as me claiming you're ageist because the overwhelming majority of youth support Sanders while older Democrats support Clinton.

Why don't you ever try to lend any legitimate criticisms about the policies Sanders supporters actually advocate for, like universal healthcare or raising the minimum wage? Why is it always about race and/or sex? About what political group based on race or sex supports who or what and why you're racist or sexist for not automatically being on their side? Why don't you ever discuss economics? Increasing the minimum wage? Or start any threads about your concerns about improving the socioeconomic status of minority workers, not just making sure racist white assholes get fired from their job at BurgerKing because they said a racist slur on social media? Now you're really changing the fuckin' paradigm there, kido! The only difference people like you are making doesn't exist in the real world, it exists within your selfish conscience, to you alone.

And didn't change a goddamn thing that actually matters to the people you purport to help in the process except stroke your already inflated ego
would you trust a racist loan officer to decide creditworthiness fairly?

think of what a shit show it would be if someone decided that you didn't qualify for a loan on a house or car you needed because of your skin color.

oh, nevermind, you're white. that doesn't affect you. hence why you're in the bernie cult.

You're living in the 90s, Bucky..loan officers, apartment etc are all automated now. They don't even get to see credit info any longer. They submit and software does the rest..they merely get 'yes, no or need co-signer'. This is to stop people like the elites (Fred Trump) from discrimination.
