Do we need more information on seed packs?

does your parentage come from existing proven genetics and their hybridization/cultivation/pollination or from fairy dust to preserve ethics?
Depends on your idea of proven genetics I suppose?

Had the original cut/clone of Pineapple Express, Grand Daddy Purple (Ken's cut), Pink Kush, Blue Dream (Santa Cruz cut) Bros Grimm C99 and the popular cut of Durban Poison that has been in Colorado since the 90's to name a few,,,,,,

Several Land Races Dalat, Lebanese, Afghan, Zamal, Oxacan to name a few

Spent 3 years makin my first base strain

Spent 9 years makin this Sat Dom Hybrid I named NeverLand that finishes in 7 weeks, here she is in week 3

not really , considering the other end of the spectrum of choices was fairy dust right:P

point is those stellar strains were in existence before you hybridized and cultivated them. it was someone elses
offerings. I am only making the point that this is how we all start to breed our own, even those who sell the results under different names(of course)

This is the most laughing I have done in years. The funniest shit I read was dude said I learned how to grow watching his IG. If I learned from him my plants would gas out in the 3rd or 4th round. That's why he don't post pics on here but veg pic :razz::-P:razz::p:-P. Better invest in some kelp meal or salts

until someone offers cheap at home dna swipes whodafucksgonnnaknow? of course its ok in my book, more ok if you're honest with me before I purchase.

I love watching the breeders, some of these pairings are not available to me and if they were I'd have to surpass plant counts and use up valuable time breeding some of the very same strains they have, ready to use for me now.

1)A bunch of my IG friends were talking about this this weekend.
2)Seed auctions are the new big thing.
3)We were joking we should pool all our 2nd and 3rd rate seeds and start an auction site.
4)Someone will always buy anything if you change enough for it.
5)Must be good if it cost a lot right?
1) oh yeah?
2) next big thing? dafuck you been nugget they been around since forever chile'
3)pool your 2nd and 3rd rate seeds? which seeds would that be? seeds I've grown and made were fire.
4)Maybe your friends think that because they would?
5)sometimes turns out to be true

I am new to IG, so the seed auctions are new to me. {I took an 11 year break from growing and smoking, so lots of things are new to me}

My buddies are pros, as in they grow for a living. {I am a hobbyist, and do not} They were singing the blues about how kids run the price up in auctions so real growers can't afford them.

Anyway, there are two kinds of people in the world. The night people and the day people. It's the night people's job to get the day people's money.

Im not talking about seed vendors from europe where most genetics where coming from if not all from your time. You say since 1991.

USA AND Canadian breeders have been able to recently. Maybe this can help people who where the bad seed companies your had...

facts and names can help stir people so who?
Ive bought more seeds in the last 10 years than ever before that. Ive probably ran more plants than several growers on this forum combined. And Iam telling you...you seem to be a seed buyer fan boy noob - no offense...that the seeds most people are buying could be ALOT better for what we are paying. And if you have common sense..a litlle time...and the space and equipment...you can make your own seed from simple crosses that in all likelyhood will ba as good or better than what you will find in a one hundred plus dollar pack with a cool label and alot of hype.

And the funny thing is...you could apply that to just about anything. Once you add "Limited Edition" or similar people go nuts. Maybe not actual growers/gardeners but the "collectors" will trip over themselves to obtain it. Its just basic Marketing 101

Higher price =/= better genetics
Limited Edition =/= better genetics
But it sure does reel in the $$

How many doors are in that third pic? I mean damn! There's even a door in the mirror on the door! Nice bud there!
LMFAO.
And yes those girls are Fine!
I'm not sure where we got off on saying he can't grow. I see his picks and love em every time.
Throwing shade on a mans skills when its unwarranted, eliminates any legitimacy.
Also denotes weakness of character.
We all know Vato grows fire.

Crossing two strains or any two seeds would be f1. First gen cross.

F1 are uniform.

Its standard practice in the ag world. Take two cuts and cross them and the results are uniform but if anyone tries to grow them again lime heirloom or ibl then they will be all over the place with different phenos.
In the case of veggies though, there is a strong heirloom seed market with thousands of true breeding strains.
Everything in my garden is self pollinated and saved for next year except my Carolina reapers.

I don't think I've ever been lax in doing my homework.
I've been to hawaii, seen how the people there think and act, very clandestine but also welcoming and prideful.
Pua mana advertises a pure land race product and I can believe em because its they're culture to preserve beauty.
Mostly though there's not much validity to most claims short of the bohdis and karmas of the world.
I know what I like though and I want every piece of the puzzle.

I was a little surprised when we landed in Hawaii. It was very similar to going through customs here with specifically banned produce, plants, etc. They're quite diligent at keeping non native/indigenous shit off the islands.

I haven't been there in some time, but they use to search your shit as you were leaving the islands as well. Wouldn't want to introduce banana spiders to the mainland or steal any lava rock and incite the wrath of Pele.
