So when I replied to Vato @ that point I was saying and still saying You dont have to goto the emerald cup to get shit. I have not been to a emerald cup and still have exclusive stuff..

At the time Menrgene was producing for them while at the emerald cup..

What is it with you and your bizarre obsession with what other people are growing, how long they've been growing or who they may or may not know in the bean biz? Is this really how you find meaning and validity in life?

I grow what I want to grow. I follow a few trusted seasoned growers here but I don't ride the coat-tails of breeders. Not many here do. They give their support financially and don't give a rats ass who may or may not have met them IRL

I mean c'mon man...they're "chuckers/breeders". They're not rock stars and they're certainly not Gods.

Really well bred culitvars that are consisntently awesome shouldnt have to worry about knockoffs. And if they did it right...they went through a ton of knockoff similar crosses themselves to lock in a real bad ass variety. Again..goes to show how many are creating something original..unique and stellar. On a very consistent basis. Not many at all. Ive created hundreds of seed that turned out plants that blew past either parent strains..several times. All these yo yos are doing iam doing as well on a smaller scale. Taking all the clone onlys and hitting up the best male they got. Thats 99% of every so called breeder out there. I do that myself. Save alot of money. They arent breeding anything true just making seed. Putting them in a nice package. Hyping it up. And you all buy the shit outta them. The proof is in the pudding. Germinate 10 seeds..get 10 different plants with phenotype variation all over the place. These arent true cultivars. Not by any stretch. Notice this doesnt happen in the heirloom tomato and veggie seed business??? If I was a known cannabis seed maker..i wouldnt change a damn thing. Its a cash cow.

A few breeders Like Alien IBL there lines and put work into them. Lots of breeders work there lines for years and keep tight liped..

Lots of other real world companies have trade secrets / recipies and whatnots that remain undisclosed..

Why not for cannabis, I used purple punch earlier as an example that still would have been good....
