Guys this extra cal mag nonsense is just that, feed them the right strength of nutrients and a little Epsom salts will sort your girls out.
LOL i know, right?

Next they'll start whining about lockouts from too much calcium!

What's even funnier is when they bitch about canoeing from excessive nitrogen; 'Cal-Mag' is made with calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate!

Arrow couldn't pay me to order their shit!

Nah, I'm broke lol, ordered Chinese crap till I can get something better.

Dude, I'm such an impulse buyer and the wait is killing me, yesterday was payday and I ordered a 6" aluminum heatsink, (5) 730nm Cree X-PG diodes, and a little meanwell LPC-20-350 to run a Far Red booster. Hopefully that works, the driver says it works at 9v-48 but the PDF says it can run 3 to 48v. Hoping that's the case, since the diodes run at 1.7-2v I don't think the minimum current would produce enough voltage at 350mA. We shall see, it'll be about 10 years before I get this shit from China lol

In any case, please let me know, I already ordered the LPC-60-1750 for the QB120 from arrow (is that where you got yours from, Expedited shipping my ass!)

I'm surprised NGL doesn't have any specs on the board, I was gonna buy it last night at like 1 AM lol, but then I made that post to ask if it was good enough to veg, waiting on responses.

Peace

Anyone who's purchased a 135w kit. Did yours come already set at 135w? Or did you have to adjust the dimmer? Curious before I buy a kill a watt meter.

Hey QB Growers:bigjoint:I wanted to ask for a little input. I'm growing two Blueberry's Femmed from the Seedsman. One is a Big Bush and the other a half a foot taller. I'm running a HLG 550. wanted to know what's the best distance to have my light from the tops of the plants. I just raised the light because last run I burnt a top about 4 weeks in bloom I had them 16-17 inches from the canopy. now there about 19-20 inches. Just need to raise the Bushy plant so the canopy is even on both plants!

Thanks for any feedbackbongsmilie
Happy Growing!!!

Almost all the "A" type CV drivers I've gotten are set pretty much on the nose at their rated voltage (54v in this case). Either way, you can turn the 135W kit driver right up to max and the QB will do just fine.

At full power 24-30Inches is where I'm at when pumping 500-600watts, any closer and I start to see a light tan colour on the canopy, if left alone the tanning gets worse and the leaves die, so have to back off till they are happy again. Just learn to read your plants as different conditions and different strains can take more and some less.

Hay its cool u got to do what u got to do its not like we got , sponsors so u do what u got to do i ther whith u i am a impulse buyier

Like now maby u help me what to do i need a edzyim. Like hygrozyme. Is all i buy but $$$$ 22$for 500mils fuck me i get suck of it bio cozyme is cheeper i here duz it do same lmk if u no
I've been using Total Pond Barley Clarifier for years now instead of hygrozyme/cannazyme. It works a little bit slower but it's more concentrated and all natural, you can make 800 gallons I think with it. Smells nice and it takes good care of the dead root matter, I reuse coco so thats why I even use it, definitely works and for 7.99$ a bottle it's a nice addition. I bet you could find it at Home Depot/Box Store on sale right now for dollars off.

I'm still debating this QB120, I'll probably just buy it, I got some old aluminum angle about 24" that I could frame the sides of. I was gonna buy cheap drivers, but then I get baked or I'm at work and I think "what if that cheap chinese driver starts my house on fire?", then I have a panic attack half the day and I can't focus

For an extra 4$ I got a meanwell, plus the output voltage goes higher than the cheap drivers which means I could run more 730nm if my space ever grows.

I've been using cannazyme but been coming across the total pond barley clarifier. I'll be picking up some of this my next trip to Home Depot.
On the qb side of things. Hopefully mine will be shipping tomorrow!

Edit just got an update. Looks like it got pushed back to the 21st. Hopefully this is the last time it gets pushed back.

My order is scheduled to arrive Tuesday. I cant lie, I'm pretty excited to get started building lights. I am going to pull the 600w HPS I've got over my packed 3x3 and replace it with 4x QB. The tops are less than 12 inches from my cooltube now and are finally finishing their stretch. Today is day 23 from the flip, 10 plants topped multiple times. Veg time was 41 days. I had a bit of a learning curve with letting the plants recover fully before topping again. I am also very crowded in this tent. Ive got 8 qb coming, i may grab a bigger tent and go for some side lighting.

Dont mean to hi-jack the thread... didnt know where else to put this... I just feel the need to give a MAAAJOR shout out to Robin of HLG. I had a pretty severe lighting situation develop... No negativity, so I wont go into too nuch detail.. but Robin went WAAAY beyond anything that should reasonably be expected of him and his company to fix my problem & get my lights up & going. I am disabled, on a fixed income... I NEED my garden, my medicine, & frankly, I would almost certainly be losing my crop if not for him going well beyond "good service". Robin is a GOOD HUMAN BEING, & has earned my permanant loyalty as a customer :) Im NOT selling anything or being compensated - He just deserves the praise, flat out, and more than I can give. THANK YOU SO MUCH ROBIN!!! ✌
