Designated Growers

Yup totally agree Bigmanc. I feel a few of your numbers slightly high but basically your right on the money in Ontario. If you need to send someone say 10 grams a day you need more than a piddly little 4x4 tent. You need a bigger setup and that is a different ball of wax. You need a dedicated room. Plus a veg room to support it.
Anyway what's the deal with this " oh you keep the overage " in exchange....WTF !!!
That is based basically on the assumption that you'll sell the rest to the BM. The excess does you no good unless it get sold. So a DG who wants for very little money expects you to do the dirty work for them to support their lower cost..... WTF again. A DG system based on low prices to the patients is based on BM sales! What advantage to the grower does the overage do?????. It means the grower needs to operate a BM sales department as well to supplement the cheap DG commitment. Geez nice deal if you can get it.
It's been pretty obvious from these DG threads in the past here that once you go that low...there are NO TAKERS unless it's for huge daily scripts where they intend to sell plenty to the BM.
I spend over a hundred hours a month in my grow. Every fuckin day too...no days off or weekends off either. If my time is billed for only $20 per hour...well add that up.
The DG system is mostly based on BM sales to support it. That's why so many growers say..no thanks.
So let see.....hmmmm
I take all the risk.....do all the work......outlay all the capital....pay all the costs and bills......work EVERYDAY faithfully.......sell to the BM.....take the legal risk of BM sales...Risk my own property.......risk your own safety and security....risk Home invasion and rip-offs ( Eh Dan ?).....and then sell it off for $1 a gram...no thanks.
And does the patient ever sell their basically free weed for a profit??? Only to be sent more. Kind of like the VETS could do with a 10g a day free stipence.
The DG system basically exists because of illegal BM sales. Am I wrong?
Only numbers I'm probably high on is water and gas, gas I put 300$ but during summer it's just the 80$ish flat delivery (I have it off) but just having the thermostat kick on at 10degrees I've had 700$ gas bills, garbage I'm thinking going biweekly instead of weekly should cut price in half to 50$!a month, water ya maybe not 300 but I've had them that high when growing in 7gals

The biggest factor to determine yield when growing indoors is light...once you grow a few cycles you'll figure it out...maybe
I have.

And that's exactly what I get.

1kw+ of led actual draw.

360w t5 for veg.

I took down two unhealthy plants last weekend for 110g+.

But please, try to tell me it's impossible and try to mislead people some more.

Are you telling me all the "pros" here can't get the same yields that someone growing for 7 months that did some research can?

That's certainly gratifying.

LOL...ok now we got some numbers to work with.

Soo...14gpd is about a pound per month. Assuming 4 weeks veg and 8 weeks flower you need to produce 3lbs per cycle. At your lack luster performance of 110g/1kw you would need 12kw to supply that one patient.

Now try tell me you can put 25 plants under one light and yield 2oz/plant
.

Yeah they are pretty lame. Just remember that most of them are nothing more than house rats that only believe in bro science.

110 from two unhealthy plants. Learn to read.
Let's assume all 25 are unhealthy.

25 x 55 = 1375g

Again, even assuming all unhealthy plants, that's very nearly 100 days.

And nowhere did I state one light, so suck it homie. 1kw led spread evenly can easily produce that yield quite comfortably.

Either you don't grow or don't know.

Stop assuming. He's right you'll need 12 lights with a perpetual veg rotation constantly. So you pull your 110g off of a full run (3months) you claim 100$ a month in hydro. 3$ a gram sounds like a deal now doesn't it cause even your paying more then that without adding the cost of equipment, bites, water, labour, medium and the many other things.

Your telling other people they don't grow and your pulling 4oz? lol

There you go assuming again...lol. Just how far do you think you can spread out 1000w? If you think your going to cover 25 plants with 1000w of however many leds you should keep researching!

Wow. You clearly know nothing.
A full run is not 2 plants.

If you can't follow the basic math laid out then there's not much I can do to help you.

I'm not researching.

I grow that. I could use my set up to flower 25 plants but I don't require that quantity for personal use. I cycle it so I pull down 3 plants every 2-3 weeks to meet my needs. I've never gotten less than 1.5oz from a plant, highest is 2.8oz. Average is just over 2oz.

I'm sorry you can't. I'd be happy to show you how to if you'd like.

It could be done for less money now that I've looked into diy led.

I'll grant that hydro is expensive in Ontario, but that's the peoples fault for letting it happen.

Cheers bush league ears!

LMAO...I suggest you read about the optimal wattage per square foot and the inverse square law. I know how to pull lbs per plant son! But you keep patting yourself on the back. Just FYI...the average yield with average skill is 1lb under 1kw hps.
