CONFIRMED: Mueller admits no collusion at Trump Tower meeting

The problem is that all too frequently, the "hard evidence" you cite is eyewitness testimony by fellow criminals
In the modern era, eyewitness testimony alone is not enough to invoke the death penalty unless it is corroborated by supporting evidence.

Let's see here:
  • Hard evidence and testimony of multiple people and experts convinces 12 people BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT of a persons guilt.
  • A judge and his team then reviews that in its entirety and confirms it.
  • Another judge and panel above him confirm it yet again.
  • Yet another panel of judges and researchers above him confirms it.
  • Then the governor of the state and his staff confirms it.
But they are all wrong and you're right.

Who really sounds silly?
You're right dude. The courts never get it wrong.

Nope, not ever.

Your premise is not solid.

I know a man who spent years on death row, had his sentence changed to life sentence, spent another 10 years in Folsom, all the time claiming he was innocent, only to have DNA evidence exonerate him. I do not believe in the death penalty...
Just over 140 death sentences have been either commuted or dismissed entirely in the modern era.

Which of course proves the system works pretty well.

To date, no innocent man has ever been executed in the modern era. Not one.

Are there a bunch of sites that oppose the death penalty that post complete bullshit about how "he was innocent" with some ambiguous bullshit claims of "new evidence"?

Yes. There are tons of them. Not a single one of them are correct. They're bullshit completely made up by anti-death penalty advocates that has no basis in fact or reality. If they did, they would have presented this so-called evidence to the courts on any number of a half dozen appeals.

They didn't.

Why?

Because it doesn't exist.

You people believing those "he's innocent" sites is about the same as all those people that believe vaccines cause autism because of a bogus, made up paper a disgraced, dishonored doctor wrote to make a few bucks on a lawsuit.

Dude I know at least 8-10 more cases that were life sentences, or 25-to-life, that had their convictions overturned. This list only covered death penalty cases. There are lots of innocent people locked up.....

I never said there wasn't. You miss the point completely.

People are saying innocent people are being executed. They are wrong. End of story.

Beyond the shadow of doubt? Shouldn't that be the standard to be met before an execution can go forward? If the system can't ensure that everybody meets that standard then nobody should be executed or even placed on death row.

We have plenty of examples where people are found not guilty after decades behind bars awaiting execution. Given the number of near misses found in recent years, how can you reasonably say that the system can't slip up and execute an innocent man?

Learn to read, idiot.

I tell you...you guys really are either completely stupid or you're just so pathetic the only satisfaction you get in life is acting stupid.

IN THE MODERN ERA is what I've said every single time.

And, not surprisingly, not a single one of you have listed a single example of me being wrong IN THE MODERN ERA.

But do keep on spouting shit you can't prove and making up shit I never said. It makes you look just like all those bogus sites that spout all kinds of bullshit that for some odd reason they never would go into a court of law and testify to.
I'm telling you things I know.....not what I think

saying and yelling modern era does not make you right. No system is fail proof.

No system is fail proof.
So name the mistake it's made lately. I've been waiting for days for somebody, ANYBODY, to come up with just one.

Nobody has.

It's like the Willingham case that all those "he was innocent" sites love to taught. They say their "new" fire report proves he was innocent.

No, it doesn't. It never did. Not even close. And to tell you how far the Judge went for that case, he held the circuit court open for 24 hours a day for a week and made himself available at any hour for ANYBODY that had ANY EVIDENCE AT ALL that EVEN REMOTELY POINTED TO INNOCENCE to come forward.

Nobody came.

Nobody.

The so called "fire expert" that "had new evidence" wouldn't even testify under oath to his own findings.

Stop reading bullshit. Start doing homework on the facts. In the last 40 years, not one single innocent man or woman has been executed. Not one. If you think so, you're wrong and need to join the Hale Bopp Cult before it comes around again.

Lets pick your state. Troy Davis and Brian Terrell. Georgia can be somewhat racist outside the perimeter.

Troy Davis and Brian Terrell were guilty as hell. There wasn't any evidence at all EVER presented in court that even REMOTELY challenged the findings.

What you DID have were, once again, a bunch of people CLAIMING they had evidence.

Troy Davis' execution was put off time and time again over that shit. When they would stay the execution and hold a new hearing, guess what?

There was no evidence.

That was done 3 times.

And to this day they claim the same exact thing: they have new evidence.

They don't. They never did. If they had, they would have actually shown up for the hearing and presented it. They were given not one, not two, but THREE opportunities to do so and that's NOT counting the 6 appeals he had already used up with the same shit.
