P.s. I'm living on the edge for this. 1 seed. No back ups. Luckily it's feminized. Fingers crossed. Lol.
It could still be male. It only happens like one in a thousand but it happens.
I didn't realise we had to post pics of the seeds, apologies.
I soaked them overnight, then into a paper towel for a day.
All 5 cracked and I've just finished planting in cups.
I'm going with an all fem seeds line up like this.
HSO
Blueberry Headband
Dinafem
Original Amnesia & Purple Orange (CBD)
Blimburn
BC Diesel.
Holy Smokes Seeds
Chem Toffees.
Its cool. No biggie.

I had a dream last night that my vegging plants in cups had yellow necrotic leaves in veg, I usually don't have yellow necrotic leaves until early flowering.
Maybe it wasn't a dream, maybe it was a vision lol.
Shouldn't have yellow necrotic leaves early flower.

No, but I have had it happened to me in the past more than I'd like to count and have never grown in a plastic party cup before.. Kind of a joke but the dream was real lol.

I have been racking my brain on veg lighting.
I considered 600w MH but have decided on the 400w MH for the 1st 2 weeks or so. will then change to 600w MH for the final week of veg then 600w hps for flowering.
I'm concerned that if I start with the 600w MH the plant will be bigger and also harder to keep happy in flower.

Now I have 24 hours to figure out my medium. :peace:

Have you thought about trying some organic dry time release nutrients? Might be easier to keep them green.

The more light the smaller the plant will be. The 600 is probably over kill the first couple weeks though. The more light the tighter the nodes. The mh will also keep the plant compact.

I have been thinking about that too.
I have a large selection of organic dry amendments and may also consider using the GH trio in flower if I run into problems. Going to start off water only for the 1st 3 weeks.

So instead of replacing t5 bulbs, which has been on the shelf a couple yesterday, i bought one of those led boards. At 65 Watts I blown away how bright it is, had me seeing white dots for an hour. Snagged the 2x2 tent for seedlings and cuts/small veg. 150 total for both to my door. Last time I bought a veg tent about the same size and 2' 8 bulb t5 it cost 4-5 hundred. Just ordered another 3k board the same size, this one was 4k.

Anyway they'll still be going under the lec, have other beans staying in the tent for a month.

how far should this light be from the seedlings, anyone know ? I don't really keep up with led tech as much as I clearly should be. Screenshot_2018-02-16-15-00-10.png Screenshot_2018-02-16-15-00-03.png

Wait, "they'll still be going under the LEC"

I don't think you can change lights during the grow bro, same lighting, grow space in 12/12 the whole grow.

IDK. I was just chatting with the OP above about 400w mh and 400w hps and also possibly changing to 600w and was not told it was a problem.

OP, if it is one light or if these Walmart cups with holes on the side are not proper let me know.
I'll use 400w hps from start to finish if it is one light only. :peace:

Soil mix is hydrating. Cups are drilled.

I dropped one seed this afternoon, will do another tonight. Going to do one as a micro NTF in a party cup. HArd to describe but I see the picture in my head clear enough to replicate.
And I am still divided between coco and soil on the other.

I'd be good with male or female plants, I have uses for both. The only pollen I have is from October. I wanna make some swazi x exodus

I'm sure I'm not the only person who is glad you entered the game.
I have always admired your roots and will enjoy following your grow.
A large group of great growers for sure and good luck to all!
Hope a large group makes it to the end.

Yeah, the timing isn't ideal but I'm toying with the idea of flipping my big girls next week then the seedlings can just go under 12/12 in the grow op. The big chicks are taller than wide as they were just grown out to take large clones from, but weren't used. I have another set of clones running that will be ready to flip by the time these are done again. Guess I need to order more drivers and start up the veg room again too.
I'll screw some bulbs in and oil the fan bearings tomorrow in preparation for germination. I have actually never germed or grew in rockwool before. Sure I'll make a right mess of that one, but it is going to be a good effort at creativity. I'm just gonna use whatever shit I have laying around the house.

greetings,
fungal soil going. im not sure if its white from bokashi or mycelium. The left had no humic acid, only huautla cubensis liquid culture of mycelium in its first watering and is one day behind the two on the right, which were given humic acid instead of cubensis in their first watering. I hope to see mycelium on the side of the cups throughout the grow. ... Whole reason i chose clear.
