What is a good led for 200 or less

With 2 I'm pulling 415 watts at the wall. I might be wrong but two may do it.
On another thread I think we had a rough estimate of 770 ppfd for a 2'x3' closet with just the one light, from what I've read cannabis can grow optimally between 500 and 900 ppfd. So twos probably in that range for a 4x4.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong though!

I know lumin wise (not the correct measure) my frankencob outshines my 400 watt hps easy by 14,000 lux. So yeah two can be considered as effective as 2 400 watt hps.
Again I'm a newb when it comes to leds, so double check with the knowledgable cats on the led thread. But by my experience two of these will blow up a 4x4.

I was setting my friend up with the rapid led kits that i run which are similar output, just concentrated into 3 chips instead of 6 and 3 of those was the magic number for a 4x4. 2 of those should do fine, i think you would kill it with 3 though! If you havnt already ordered maybe 2 of the 9 chip rigs?

Where can i buy new chips and drivers from?

Whats the strain in you hand dude looks like Cookie Kush.I use a Mars Hydro and i like it no Problems with Heat ,the buds are all ways nice and dense,I use cfl's too over seedlings and clones.I have a Cookie Kush under the Mars at the Minute,Really good sized top Cola ,with a few nice buds lower down too,Its 9 week Tomorrow and still looks like it could do with another week

Ive had cookies kush before. Awesome smooth sweet tasting bud man. hope yours turn out as good man!

Nothing wrong with Vero18s...
Some would argue that "for XXX more, you could get blah blah blah" and they are correct at some level.
But if you know how to figure out how many of those particular emitters are required to generate the desired photon saturation, you can get satisfactory results.

I have a 2ft long VEG bar, that has 3 Vero 18s, and even 3 Vero 10s on it....
Of course there are chips that can create more output, with the same voltage used up, but I care not....

I dissagree. I think HGLs 135 watt QB(3x3 veg/2.5x2.5) is $208. I plan on getting 1 very soon and if i like a 2nd for 4x4 tent. I hear very good stuff about these. Figure 2x 135 is betyer than 1 260 cause can spread how i feel.

In that case, yes. As long as the driver(s) in your light will be able to run enough of them. The driver voltage will tell you how many you can run, the current and space youre trying to light will tell you how many youll need. Have you opened up the patient yet?

Well i figured that much out! Lol. Was wondering what brand/model. Are you going to update on this thread or start a new one? Id like to see how the build goes and what you do with it.

It is the 9 slot. I'm kinda excited to rip it open. gotta wait until Monday. Im wondering if i should replace all 9 slots with vero's.... or maybe just 5 and leave 4 the factory purple for different spectrum? what do you think?
