are you looking for plug and play or are you willing to build one? a good plug and play is going to be hard to find in that price range but for your budget this might work unless you have your heart set on an LED http://www.ebay.com/itm/315W-CMH-Grow-Light-Kit-Reflector-WIDER-Range-W-Bulb-120-240V/272655806270?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649. for a DIY led the bridgelux eb strips are a good option. up to 165 lumens per watt and can be operated up to 700ma without a heat sink. and they provide very uniform coverage https://www.digikey.com/products/en?s=55345&v=976 you are not likely to find a good plug and play led in your price range. hope this is helpful

those cheap LEDs do not last long or produce well.your CFLs may work better until you can afford a good light

Keep going with your CFLs until you can spend more on a quality light like COBs or QBs

Forget Mars hydro .... Those pinky disco panels are garbage , I used them like a dumbass and regret it. I actually GUTTED one and replaced with quantum board and it blew the original out of the water. They use cheap / B stock epistar LEDs throttled down to prolong life. They burn out , they melt the lens ( ir chip ) and burn out.
Shitty drivers that are inefficient. ........ Yes they " do " grow pot but a very unimpressive plant.
You have choices ...
CFL " can grow " if properly lighting plant ( surround ).
T-5 rigs are another great option.
Typical HID SETUPS are pizza ovens
There are built 2 cob rigs out there ...
There is also Quantum Boards ... A fantastic option.
They sell out fast and are stupid simple to put together.

Second to budz... i would add my usage of viparspectra LED's as they do what we need them too! Although if you can find the extra scratch then i def agree with maurice, go club315! Their full spectrum light can produce better qualtiy buds then diodes can as the spectrum isnt, a mix of color concocted in a lab but something attempting to mimic the sun... i just grabd a Nanolux 315 unit for 260ish

Replace your cfl with household led bulbs, diffusers removed. Will beat any shitty chinese blurple pos and be a nice step up from cfl. Replace watt for watt. Actual watts, not "replaces a..."

I do not. I have a friend i got set uplike this though and he has to great effect! I have a 3 cob vero 29 kit. Well 2, 1 in each tent. These are surprisingly effective and you can build a 10 bulb setup just like this for about 60$, bulbs included

Well for that kind of budget, itbwould grab one of the vipar spectra led and just add your 8 cfls along with it. I use viparspectra to supplement my 400watt hps along with some cfls thrown in there as well. Working fabulous so far

What tempature are your 23w cfls? I have 4 23 watt 6500k cfls and 4 23 watt 4200k cfls in my flower tent along with 450w vipar spectra and 400watt hps. Each reflector has one of each cfl ( so 2 per reflector) . So 4 reflectors total. One hanging down in each corner of my tent where light is the weakest. If I were you. id snap a 450w viparspectra ( $139.99). Hang that directly above your single plant. then dangle the 8 cfls around the plant at different heights for better side lighting. I think that would be very sufficient for just one plant

The led bulb route will cost less and perform better. Ppfd on the viparspectra is no different than your hps. Not many situations where any mass
produced chinese blurple light would be a recommendation. Will they grow a plant? Yes. You are getting more out of the hps and cfl though. As a supplementary light, it fits, i guess? But if someone is looking for an all purpose setup on a buget, i would not recommend.

For $220 you can just get their 3 cob vero setup driven @2100ma. 260w at the wall, great output and cover 2.5x2.5.
