Oos!... I mean, "You're talking to him and I've helped him." pH indicator of 6.5-7 is a narrow range to be working with but congratulations Dubers.... you can keep a plant alive.

OK cool, thanks. If I transplant today or tomorrow and then put it under a 250w HPS will it grow faster and bigger?
Damn it! That guy doesn't even know how big of a container the plant is in now. You're hopeless and since you wanna be a dick about it listen to these assholes giving you bad advice and do everything they say. Spend all your money and watch your plants die. Then remember me when you're crying yourself to sleep.

stop being a little brat.... its not gonna die...

transplant. water the "whole" pot. dont water again until its dry. dont gauge this by 1 spot...poke around the pot as well as lifting it to feel the weight... I had a big bud in the same situation..didnt think it was rootbound so fast. transplanted and it took off...

check the pic, this is one of the Northern Lights i'm growin' right now and is just a few days (2) past a month old. that's a 5 gallon bucket just so u can have some comparison. hope it helps

Cool. How much bigger are plants that are a month old supposed to be?

forgot to include a side view for ya. and i agree that yours is prolly rootbound. bigger pots = more pot. :)

after you transplant you'll see a dramatic difference. and i apologize for fuckin' up your thread with a stupid argument, like i've said... everyone has their own ideas and they think they're right. best thing to do honestly if u have about 30 bucks to spare is to go buy Jorge Cervantes' Marijuana Horticulture Bible and spare yourself the time and misleading info that you'll find on the internet.

Thanks for the helfpul info dubya! I'll try to pick up the horticulture bible asap.
Other than it being small and apparently overwatered, how does it look to you guys?

Ok, so I'm going out tomorrow to buy a 250w HPS. Does $250 sound too expensive? I'll also be using CFL's as side lighting. What should I expect temps to be in my grow space?

yes kinda expensive. Depends what kind it is....check out htgsupply.com. I picked up a 250 from there for 130+shipping. Whats the size of ur space??.. I recently picked up a 400 and the temps are in the same range as my 250. Since its getting colder outside, those temps are gonna drop even more...Temps are mid to low 80's using only a 20in box fan... I wouldn't worry about side light that much, that 250 should be enough... U can also keep it rather close..i had mine around 4-6in above the tops...make sure u have a fan blowing over the tops also.

Okay, next step.

I just hung the HPS and have my KC36 under it as well as 3 Hashplant seedlings that are yet to sprout. How close should I have the light to the plants?

i would put them under cfl's to start them off....but i would have the like maybe 20in away....moving 2-3inch, per week....reason being they're still very small and too much intense light wouldnt be good. I had put my Lemon G seedling under my 400 and experienced some burn.....now its back under my 2-25w cool blue cfl's....also dont use light until they sprout. no sense on wasting power.
