My KC36 plant

I would start adding nutes to your water at about 2 weeks into veg. Start at 1/4 strength, and then move up to 1/2 1 week later. See how they do at 1/2 strength, and then go up to full strength 1-2 weeks after that. I have, and have read its good to, alternate between just water, and water with nutes. I was watering mine every day, and I used nutes everyother. Keep this up until 2weeks before harvest at which point its best to flush the plants with plain water for about a week, and then stop watering them 1 week before harvest. This tells the plant that it is time for it to finish its growth, and to fully mature.

Okay. My soil says that it feeds for 6 months. Should I still add nutes?

I bought Fox Farm nutes yesterday just in case.

Ya the nutes that are in the soil are some what minimal, but that is why its good to start with low strength nutes. That way you don't over do it. Start low, and build up from there once you see how the plants respond. It helps prevent nute burn.

So it says on the back 1 teaspoon per gallon. That seems very low, but is that correct?

Prolly that stuff is usually pretty concentrated.

I fed it with quarter strength nutes and the plant seemed to like it. I'm going to post pics later today.

Not really, my 36 never preflowered. It may just be a trait of the plant.

Haha. I'm definitely not quitting the gardening game. My heart was broken when I threw them out. I feel so sad, going downstairs, and not smelling them and seeing how they progress. I was looking forward to harvest, I was gonna go into flower this weekend. Well at least I still have lights, nutrients, soil, pots, and seeds. Hopefully another week or two before i start again. This time LEGALLY!

OH and BTW, when I took it out of the pot, the roots were HUGE! I'm pretty sure it was root bound.

If you don't mind me asking, or if its not a security risk, why did you have to kill them, and how will you be restarting legally? Just curious.

What I mean by growing legally, is that I'm hoping to get a medical card for my condition in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully my doctor will sign the papers, and I can get back to growing!

Ahhh the old trust issue. Thats a sticky situation to be in. Sucks man, hope the med card goes well, I wish I had that option. Once you get started hit me up with a link to your journal. I'd love to watch them grow with ya.

On the + side, if you get a card, then you can go get some clones from a dispensery, and have better quality genetics, and not have to start from seed or worry it will be male. My vote is Ak47, I've never heard a bad thing about it. Thats what I'm growin next.

I too have never heard a bad thing about AK47. I still have the Hashplant seeds, I'm not sure if i should plant them now or wait. I have no clue how long the whole med card process takes. Any one have experience in Ontario?

I'm working on a set up, I just moved into a new place. I think I'm gonna be able to use the basement, but I need to feel out the landlord first to make sure he isn't gonna be one of those nosy guys, needing to get in for this reason or that. So far I think its on track, he seems pretty cool, and he lives a little out of town, so I don't think it will be a problem. In a few weeks, I'm getting me seeds, and I already have my light. I still need, some fans, mylar, some air pumps, my pots( in this case baskets), soil, nutes, a screen(for scrog) and hopefully a co2 system. My goal is to be into the vegging before the newyear. It might go faster then that, I just gotta play it by ear. I'd really like to be going be dec., but just don't know yet. Once I do get it up, i'm gonna journal for every one, and I'll link it in my sig line.
