My KC36 plant

Hello all!
I have a KC36 plant which sprouted on Sept. 7, and I was wondering how everyone thinks it looks. The first 2 weeks I made a couple mistakes including soil, insufficient lighting, and I planted in clear cups. I think this is the reason the plant is so small. Since I transplanted to a bigger and opaque pot, with proper soil and added more light this plant has started growing at a faster pace.

Right now I'm growing under two 42w daylight CFL's (6500k), two 23w daylight CFL's and one soft white 27w CFL. I water every 2 or 3 days when the top of the soil is dry.

The plant also has a couple yellow spots and the very bottom leaves turned yellow and brown.

So is my plant unusually small? All advice welcome,

Thanks

Yes.... overwatered. Just letting the top of the soil dry out is not good enough. That plant prolly has roots down deep about now. Learn the weight of a soaked container and go by that.

Well those pics are from today, and I watered last night. The top inch or so of soil becomes dry and the plant perks up, that's when I water.

What are some other possibilities of it being small?

you must be calculate lumen..so cm2x5 lm or 6lm what is your space?and bulbs lumen?and cfl is good for veg. if you want real buds you mustbe use 400w hps

my grow space is 1 meter by 1 meter and 8 ft tall. The lumen rating for the 42w is 2850, and for the 23w it is around 1600 I believe. Also I just checked and the 27w light is 1400 lumens. I have these CFL's less than and inch away from the plant.

I'm also looking at either a 250w or 400w HPS for flowering, but can't find any good in-store deals. Anybody know any good stores in the GTA that have them?

If youre watering as soon as the plant perks up youre not giving it enough time in the sweet spot. Give it a day or two after it perks up. It's small because youre overwatering simple as that.

Wait until it is putting on nodes. Should prolly top it soon as it starts growing vigorously. Heck... top it a couple times but keep it short.

what's your PH level? slow growth can definitely be a PH factor due to lockout if the levels are too high.
Oh shit! Here comes butternuts to the rescue. Settle down, we've got it figured out all ready. You're too late to do any damage here.

easy enough, test the water ph prior to watering. and test drainage water as well. most likley will have to take the PH down so use vinegar. pool test strips work great, of course the ph scale on those only goes down to 6.7 or somethin' like that, can't remember cuz i don't have em in front of me. but that's what i use as well. no need to replace em if they're workin' fine right? but yeah... test the ph and take it between 6.5 and 7.

I haven't checked my PH level, I don't have a meter. Closest thing I have is pool test strips...

HAHAHA, so 6.7 doesn't fall between 6.5 and 7? why don't you check my grow pics and see how fucked up my plants are. or you can listen to a dumbass that suggests it's ONLY the water and doesn't give you any other solutions or possibilities.

OK cool, thanks. If I transplant today or tomorrow and then put it under a 250w HPS will it grow faster and bigger?
