Those should be moist and covered with a dome. The ridiculously dry cubes and low humidity don't seem to be working too well.
they have the cloning dome with the light ive been keeping it on a heating mat and spraying them

As stated above.. dome them, and use something to elevate them from being directly on the heat mat unless you are controlling the temp. Mist the cubes, and keep them moist. Spray mist multiple times daily if needed.

I would. Make sure you are taking cuts from a healthy plant. Gives them a better chance. They don’t need a ton of light either. You could use a small desk lamp to keep them going if that’s all you had available.

If all else fails.. take a cut and place it in a cup of water.
I’ve had this cut in a beer bottle sitting on my stove with only the lamp from the hood over the stove. It’s been sitting there about a month.

I found with the root riot cubes it was best to soak them in a weak veg solution .... but after trying loads of times and not having a very high percentage I bought an aero cloner and I'm around 90 percent success with one of these simply snip the cut prune the leaves set it and forget it .. best piece of kit I've ever bought

cloning is like a freaking nightmare to me haha sometimes i get close to 100% sometimes same technique same plants 0% so i keep trying every method till they dont work anymore. i even put together a water cloner with uv aquarium filter without airpumps and stones. just filter sucking water doing its thing inside and depositing the sterilized water from the other end of the water cloner from some height. thus aerating water in the process. worked really well.

Raise them off the heat mat a bit with some bottle caps, or a few rings from a Mason jar lid. Some of those heat mats just keep on running. Make sure the vents on the dome are open. The light built into the dome along with the heat mat are roasting your clones. Mine root just fine using the side wash from my veg lights, which are actually underneath my dome.

Don't let them sit in water either. Just mist the cubes and the plants once or twice a day. The stems need to callous over to form roots, so it needs air as much as water
