They are in a dome and moist

I struggle with clones from time to time also. Sometimes too much moisture. Sometimes not enough.

I just bought these two from Amazon. Should fit right into an existing veg tub I have that already has 2” holes in it and an airstone. Hoping this ups my clone survival percentage.



Here is one of my existing veg tubs. And yes I flower in 2” net pots. It works!!!

I do not, sorry.

forgot to mention when I flower in two inch net pots, each plant/pot is supported about 6” above the net pot. I used 90 degree brackets on each side of the plant. Usually destroys the net pot after flowering but I don’t have to wash hydroton anymore

here is what the bases look like before the plants get big.



I’ll post pics of my new diy cloner when I get all the parts

Just created a YouTube channel. This is it so far

Short and sweet.

Cloning is 99% proper environment and 1% whatever else you do.
95-99% humidity 24 hours a day for 7-10 days. With 75-80 degrees. Only open dome for 10-15 secounds per day to respray. Once the tops start to stretch and roots spear, start “cracking” domes vents about 25% per day until fully acclimated to room environment.

That is pretty much what I was doing, humidity probably wasn’t that high, more like 80% with dome vents open

Don’t cut the leaves. Take bigger. More leaves.

All I can say about the picture is the clones look too wet and the cubes look too dry. Everything else has been discussed already.

Right so that’s a good place to start. Shoot for 99% humidity and don’t over love them by looking and opening six times a day. Every time you drop under rooting humidity levels it stops the process and stalls everything out.
Only open vents once roots are present.

Thats how my mom used to root all sorts of plants in our kitchen window sill. She only changed the water when it got low or looked like it was growing stuff. Usually in a week or two there was roots like crazy.

Yes you can!

I throw extras in Solo Cups when I'm trimming underskirts and frequently find they've rooted before the ones in the fancy Turbo Kloner rooted them LOL!

The Dip N Grow packets helped me thanks to the recommendation I got on RIU. The trick is getting the stem in the medium without touching the sides too much which would scrape off the solution but then getting the medium in total contact with the stem as well.
