Help with Blackmail! big time!!

I would be conserened, about my neighbor knowing unless he was a friend. I'd suggest pulling early, chop'em at the base leave'm like that for a few days, or atleast leave a few (give to show). Take it in man, or plant somewhere, where growing eyeballs don't keep lurking on your property. Then after you have chop for plants write a letter back to the neighbor, once you find out who it is... explaining that its nice to know I have such good neighbors, looking out for my best intrest and on my property. Thanks, for by-passing the gate and sharing your periphal judgement on to this delicate matter. Your neighbor, with even better intentions. P.S. I bought a lock for my gate, so no sneaking in or jumping the fence while I'm away. lol. I wouldn't mention anything about weed, or how much you might be willing to exchange to keep your neighbor in the hush, but don't put it in the letter, thats for sure.

Blackmail is more illegal than your crops if your within the limits. I would go talk to him and say that you work and pay taxes the same as him ,but the only difference is that you have a medical card for growing. If he wants to go ahead then just remind him that blackmailing is a felony.

Do nothing. If you are legal, you're not in the wrong. If you can't plainly see your plants from the street, the cops can't go on hearsay. Im not a lawyer and I cant tell if the below letter is incriminating or not Im leaning towards that it is, but he specifically says in the letter "you do not have to do this"

As a good neighbor I have been silent all summer as your marijuana crop has grown. It is such a large crop it is clearly not for medicinal problems. Based on its size and quality you should be able to make tens of thousand of dollars, even if you wholesale the entire crop. As a good and silent neighbor who works hard and pays taxes it bothers me that you will make more off your illegal crop in our little neck of the woods than I will all year long. You will pay no taxes for little work while I will pay a lot of taxes for hard work. I feel that as a good and silent neighbor I am like a silent partner. This is what I propose to keep peace and friendship among neighbors. Just cut 8 oz. of quality bud. Don't dry or trim just walk out cut and put into a ziploc bag, put that in a grocery bag. Yep, and to minimize the amount gone to waste (used to book you) yet maximise the amount you are charged for. A pig would want as much dank left over as possible to be "siezed". Check if there are increased charges in your state for that amount or close to it, THAT will give you your real answer. Good point and nice catch BigP. The cops could tell you if it's blackmail or not, if so...good. If not..you don't have to do this. Just be on the watch your still legal but he may not be.
