well this would take longer but solder pieces of cut metal hanger 1/4-1/2" apart. maybe 30 min if good at soldering. thing they would be in slit. the corss bar the have on their screen could be used to reinforce the peices of cloth hangars.

yea thats true i was thinking you could wrap thick metal wire around this thing and you'd be in business but yea installing a more louvered thing over it is the way to go

we should have a dyi trimmer contest:bigjoint:

Alright this thread isnt titled how to raise your kids....or what to do around kids.

I saw this post earlier today and decided to give it a quick try...I didnt have to go buy anything as i had it all laying around the house. I tried to upload a video to youtube but it was giving me an error so i guess pictures will have to do.

I used a small box fan with plastic blades. I had to take apart the motor and switch the shaft around so it spins in opposite direction...switching polarity did not do the job. The plastic blade is limiting the cutting ability and i will be gluing on some metal pieces tomorrow.

When nugs are put through trimmer i still have to take the scissors and get a little bit more...but up to this point it does save alot of time. It only took my about an hour and a half to make. Check it out...I didnt have good sized nugs because i had already harvested the plant these came from twice...basically these are the bottom nugs which make them real airy. I think with tops this contraption would work alot better.

this guy is already ahead of the game
his idea is simple cheap and works great

check this out could be used on the box fan possible and shaped to cut

This is a 14 inch Metal Fan ONLY for direct drive use. The fans have never been used. Some of the fans have paint starting to scrape off but that is from being stacked in the factory boxes. No bolts included.
It's universal for most cars/trucks. No plastic parts. Probably could use it for your ATVs or Jeeps, or smaller cars
  • $9.95
  • In stock

Did no one else notice in the ad for the Shrub Barber dealy that it said it had a run-time of 35 minutes after a 5 hour charge? Cause I did.

So I guess you'd have to be shit rigging some sort of alternate power supply too. So unless you can do that I don't think that thing would work unfortunately. Too bad cause it looks pretty workable otherwise.
