I do nearly 3L per day in two waterings for a developed plant.

Your plant does look a bit stretchy and scrawny though. Touch more light wouldn't hurt any.

Cheif,
I can't help you with the nute question except you do want to feed as often as possible. Dilution should be what the product manufacturer recommends, maybe a taste lighter. Since coco is hydro you want to water as much as possible but wait till the medium has lost half its weight in water.
But, your plants look stretchy like they are vegging with a HPS light. This will make plants get stretchy and lanky. A MH or fluoro is much better to veg with. You get the tight internode length and squater looking plants.

that isnt a good idea. alot of experinced growers wouldnt recommend this becouse of tress ect ect bla bla = problems. so just take cuttings before you put in flower
im not goin to try it i was just interested thats all thanks for the advice tho

i was wondering cos if i take my cutting when in veg there guna be 8wks old or more before my rooms empty an they can go in, so i was thinkin they would be to big!
so is there a way to keep them small like 12" for 8wk till my rooms free for them to go in for flower?
im abit pushed for space in my room so can only fit 2 plants in and havent got a 2nd for cutting and so on so how can i get round this
any help would be great cheers

Pukka,
I don't know about the dual spectrum bulbs bro. Sorry I can't elaborate on those and the effects they have on stretching. I would assume that they don't stretch near as bad since it does have some of blue waves, but that's just a presumption.
Someone with knowledge more than me will chime in. Good luck bro.

hey chief
you should always water with nutes in coco every time or you risk washing away the buffers, i think the method you r usin is for soil mate, coco's hydro

HOW TO PREVENT POPCORN BUDS????? TRIMMING, TOPPING ETC
hey cheif thought this info might help you this is for canna coco tho but geuss its same for the b"cuzz

jberry says "i water every other day with the 2 gallon pots and everyday during the last 2-4 weeks of flower. (you say your usin 13.5L pots so you may not have to water as often)

the proper time to water coco is when the plant/container has lost half its weight... So, next time u water, pick up the plant to get a feel for how heavy it is... when it has lost close to half its water weight then it is time to water again... the coco may be starting to dry out on the top at this point, or it may be wet looking still... But you should water based on the weight, regardless of what the coco looks like.

Run off is the water that drains out the bottom of the container (and you should water until you get 10-20% runoff every time), and it helps keep the old nutes flushed out and replaces them with the new fresh nutrients each watering."

hope it helps good luck mate

hey ph1l
ive had a quick look bk thro this thread but cant find what your lookin for, early on jberry goes on about the coco nutes are made for tap water with a ec of 0.2 I THINK! (dont take my word read bk an find out for sure) so if so id stay as you are if your plants are doin well

if you read bk and there designed for tap water with 0.5 witch it could be im not sure at all, could be more! then you could try intruducin the cal/mag at a weak dose an see how you go
basically if you read bk you'l find out everythin you need to no mate
hope this helps

Pukka,
From what I have read about like the Son Agra dual spectrum bulb those seem to work better than just the HPS for veg. In terms of efficiency and cost per to run, in addition to stretching, those are the best choice all around. The article I read says that 'those produce the tightest internode from any bulb' This was from a grow site and not a manufacturers site so sounds solid.
It sounds like you have the best bulb for all around grow so best of luck. with the 250W though you are going to be limited to a smaller area though. 2000 - 2500 lumens per sq ft is good so you should be ok with about 10 sq ft with the light not too high. Just my two cents and what works for me. I am sure someone else may have a more text book number for you though.
Hope this helps and good luck. Let me know how that bulb works since I might invest in a 1000w for my HPS. Haha

and you may look into LST aka low stress training, this thred will give you a good adea Show me what u got LST

Brings it down.
Depending on your starting pH and the quantity of each you should be balancing around 5.5 to 5.9. The PK 13/14 is used very sparingly, and for a short period of time. During this time the pH will need adjusting as you'll be running 1/2 of the nutrients as before. The boost brings the pH up just a touch, which seems to aid with Magnesium uptake.
