so will 5 of those true 17watt that puts out 75 wannabe watts lol grow light from walmart grow me some huge plants when I veg? I want them to get big and fat before I flower because I have a whole master bedroom and a 600 hps and I might add a second one for flowerings I just want the veg grow to be nice and big!! so I can LST plus top etc. oh and if u can answer if my lighting would be cool for two days where it is now? BTW the $10 light puts out a nice blue spec. so i know for sures its for vegging

M long!! my plants look way worst than urs!!! and now they are all better. the cause for me was to much water and to much nutes. if ur using like a foxfarm soil, the soil has enough nutes for vegging then when flowering u want to put the heavy stuff!!! oh and i had a 600hps running so my room was hot, I switched to walmarts grow lights for veg, and they are looking a lot better!! im a newbie too so dont take everything im saying to be correct this is just worked for me last night, check out my thread, youll see my leafs all yellow etc, now they look nice! and only getting better!

So 2 out of 3 of my white rhino girls are having some trouble and I can't figure out whats wrong. Now these hempy cups have ffof on top (1/2") as a medium in which to sprout the seed then 50/50 ffof-perlite beneath the soil half way down the cup, then straight perlite the last half (bottom) of the cup. The soil may be holding too much water which would lead me to believe the culprit of the deficiency in growth is overwatering but then again they have been exposed to 4 days of 22%/80F environment when they were sprouting and 8 hours of 96 degree heat last weekend but I've recently gotten the environs to acceptable limits: an average of 55% RH (40-70 min-max) and 79-80F avg (70-85 min-max). I know these aren't ideal but they're close enough for the materials I have on hand.
In any case check out these pics at day 15 from sprout (19 from germ.)
Lights are: CFL: 6500K 105w, 6500K 65w, 2700K 105w, 2700K 65w
LED: 2x90w UFO side lighting, tri-band.

freaking h2o.........please tell me if i toss my RO water filter of a cliff and use tap water if this will have an adverse effect on my babys.

how much perlite should you use in a 10 " pot, id say its about 2.5 gallons. I hear 1/3 perlite is good? I also am curious on how much bone meal to use, i heard its for flowering am i correct? Im doing a CFl grow btw.

I'm new, but quick question how long does it take a dispensary to pay you. My boy that moved to cali told me he sold 8lbs of white widow to a dispensary. I'm concerned because I lent him money & he claims that the dispensary won't pay him until they sell all his bud. I asked him how long he said as long as it takes to sell his bud but they won't give him a dime until its all gone.

Very new to growing, have a couple dozen plants from seeds about 15 inches high, a few have what looks like the start of buds on top...(oldest ones broke ground on Christmas day)...started to read up on cloning, took 2 branches as a test with lots of leaves and 3 nodes each, about 6 inches long, cut at 45 degrees with sharp x-acto knife, dipped ends in water then in rooting powder, and put in small jiffy-pots filled with potting soil....this was yesterday afternoon, when I checked them this morning, both had COMPLETELY wilted right down to the shelf...then I read I should be using a humidity dome...so I put them in a clear plastic shoe box, where they have been for a couple of hours...will they recover? should I keep the inside of the plastic box misted? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I need help with soil. I have been using miracle grow potting soil mixed with peat moss. Im a newbee and been reading on here that it is bad for plants so im not sure what soil to use. Im using genhydoponics flora nova nutes. Is there a soil out there to use without having to mix a bunch of worm shit and all that other stuff? Can i use my nutes with thses soils. im completely clueless here, been having problems with fullness of buds and dont want to mess up my next grow. PLeaase help!?

i have pest problem . can i use just normal bug killer that i get from the local garden center or do i need specific one just for my little girls ..

I have a quick question. I am doing my first indoor grow & I am wondering how big of a pot do i need for my plants? I have read 3-5 gallon size. Do they need to be that big. As I said I am growing indoors & am not looking to grow my plants super big. Thinking of vegging for 6 weeks. Thanks in advance for replies.

Pot size is entirely your choice. There are people on RIU that have contests growing and harvesting in a (12-20 ounce) party cup. I've seen some of the pictures and couldn't believe the size of the colas. If you have the room start with whatever fits, or approximately a 1-gallon size container and if you need to go bigger you can transplant after several weeks.
