I have a 4x4x7 grow tent and am struggling to keep it warm enough (having been evicted to the garage for flowering) w/o cooking the plant.
Tent has a single 400W HPS.
Issue is keeping the tent warm enough until summer comes.
I'm using a small portable space heater - but I can't get the heat up beyond mid 60s w/o it jumping to the 90's.
And, the plant seems to not like the hot air it puts out.
I'm thinking of trying a small oil radiant heater- thinking that will simply heat the tent w/o adding new hot air.

I need help - suggestions please?

First time grower outside thinking of getting some good quality soil FFOF or MG. will get my seeds to sprout in a cup then plant them in soil. what i want to know is: once the plant sprouts from the ground should i build a mini greenhouse or let them experience the elements?

So i thought i would give it a try. i have some large alaskan ice plants, i vegged to long. anyways now i am about 8 weeks in flowering and have some nice buds, but some places on the top are behind a bit. but the buds on the bottom are starting to get brown pistils and looking like it is going to dry up. sound normal or should i cut pre mature buds off?

I'm no expert but think you should pot it and let it gradually get used to outside conditions,then in the case of crap weather you can bring it in I may be talkin shit here but I read that you should let them get used to it outside,also dont bring outdoor plants into your indoor grow room,diseases and bugs can come in with it.

Think once 80% of trichomes are milky and pistils are brown on whole plant chop it,Cant see the harm in taking a tester but its usually immature buds on the bottom.

have you tried superthive? or greenlight powder rooting hormone, just picked up both from lowes just wondering if they are worth the money

newboy over here. I been watching and learning bout the lights n dirt n nutes. gotta get the right dirt! So i says to myself, newboy you got ta grow some of dat stank. start to roll like dat. So i looks at some seeds. Gots to start wit the seeds ya know mon. So i finds me some blueberry. i say dat blueberry got to have a nice head mon. i could roll me a fatty wit da patty on dat blue mon.

So i ordered up some seeds ya know. Den i waits mon. and i waits and i waits mon. After bout 8 days i starts to be lookin mon. lookin for my shizzle yo. twas eaten my rice n peas and i be lookin mon...everyday for da postmon. Well, yesterday i seen a phone book on da porch an i says wow mon dat is some stealth. Dem boys in amsterdam can find a phone book of ma area and place deem seeds somewheres inside. So i looks and i looks mon. i look every page in dat book mon! i tear the book and look in the binder mon. but der aint no seeds mon...no seeds mon.

Next day i sees a garden mailer wit some coupons and some plastic wrapper. i says damn, deem boys from amsterdam mighty stealth mon. how dey think up a garden mailer..its brilliant. So i looks through the mailer. i smells da mailer. i takes me my magnifying glass and den i looks real close again mon. i says dis must be da shizzle mon. I dont see noting else coming mon. So i cut the coupon into pieces and i plants some peices into my foxfarm dirt mon. Dta dirt is dark and rich mon. i knon it can work for me yo. Then i gets some lights mon. i gets some of da t5 and i gets some of da cfl and i even put me good readn light up on it mon., i put everything on that mon.

Den i gets me some spring water mon. and i pour da stuff on it mon. Every 3 days i pour it on it mon! I be watchin dat pail of dirt every day mon. i looks in da morning and den i looks in da eve. my lights is cool running mon. i gots to see some shizzle mon. But i dont see no shizzle mon. All who don’t hear mus feel.


Rain a fall but dutty tough mon. Could someone out dar help me wit my shizzle. Wat am i doin wrong mon? is it my lights mon. is it my nutes mon. I would say ma leaves is yellow but i got no leaves yet mon! And i wants to roll a splif real bad mon.

Stick

Get a bit kitchen roll and a plate,stick seeds in between then get the kitchen roll wet but not soggy,stick in dark,cool place with good air,works every time for me.Once you got a tail plant it

Try Speedyseedz mate or Attitude,or flying dutchman or sensi seeds,my mate just gave me 3 black domina seeds,from sensi seeds.Once I chop my current plant, growing those beans,get a 400w if your space allows, biobizz soil,I had small pots then transplanted to 2 gallon/11 litre pots for the last few months.Main thing is read up as much as you can ,everybody reckons its just a weed but it needs taken care of ph testers ec testers,all must haves if your serious bout growing but go to soft secrets back issues great read and its a bible of weed growing.

I am trying indoor growing for the 1st time and my 6 inch inline fans make alot of noise, anyone have any ideas? im worried that people can hear them my set up is in my garage and i can definitely hear them when im out by the curb in the front of my house, any Ideas appreciated

has anybody grew second generation low ryder seeds. while i was growing my lowryder i tok one male and 1 healthy female and bread that shit sepratly and got tons of great seeds from it. I spoke to somebody and he said that the second generation of the seeds dont produce as much as the first one that i got from the seed company . does anybody know how these seeds will be? thanks

your seeds depend greatly on the vigor of the mother, and the father.
you bred your two plants, and got seeds.
a breeder selects there parents from generations of selective breeding, trying to find the ideal mother and father plant for a seed run.
you didnt have the gene pool to select the best plants out of hundreds, so there is a chance your seeds will not produce as much as there parents.
however, you could have gotten lucky on the parent selection and got a decent cross.

Please help!! we have mold! we were in denial until tonight. It appears to be the white powdery type only in circular areas on the leaves. It's really bad in the veg. room and getting scary in the flowering room. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Neem oil? Baking soda?

just wondering what your thoughts are on going straight from seeds to flower. a mate told me rather than veg for 4 weeks he puts his to veg from seed for 2 weeks then onto 12/12..next grow i will be doing lowrider 2 and top 44. would you recommend this?

Yo thanks for the offer to help. yeah so i got 2 seedlings (purp kush) and its about 2-3 weeks old.. and it looks like its about 2-5 days old.. so small.. how can i make it grow faster/bigger.. and im using MG.. and if i wanted to change the soil how do i do that..?thanks

well man,i'm about to start a family in a grow tent,using 250 hps and i'm unsure if i need a relay/contactor for the digital timer. i dont want it blowin up as its in my bedroom,prob better to be safe than sorry,i live across the pond so things could be different here electricity wise. any feedback greatly appreciated
