just thought it would help for this thread. nah you should be good with just a box fan or a walmart 7 dollar one to keep heat down . its when you start pushin 400w + . yea its a house bathroom fan . i think 50cfm attached to a piece of straight pipe and carbon filters with dryer sheets sandwhiched in the middle and sealed with duct seal and foil tape. quiet as hell and smells downy soft! haha . chunky, the plants are a month old as of today . its my first grow and have learned hella on this site. had overwatering and underwatering probs at first i think due to noob syndrome.

the only way i know of to make the stems shorter is to bury it up to the first set of leaves. but that is just what i've read and heard - i've been lucky with my stems and plants being short and bushy which i attribute to HID lighting.

what if i cut them below the first set of leafs?
cut off their root system? that would kill them unless you try to clone them - but they are so young and fragile.

i'd bury them or .... i really hesitate to say this and don't do it rashly but .... start over again making sure i keep the lights nice and close next time around.
