Don't worry folks, just as soon as Operation Twist is over in a couple weeks, Bernanke will start printing money on a massive scale, this will be like a double injection of Heroin to the body economic which is totally addicted to infusions of new drugs(Money).

I don't know that there is that much Bernanke can do. They could lower the fed rate a little, but that won't do much and certainly not very fast.

This is a more in-depth explanation of exactly why the Federal Reserve is basically laundering $$, and why most mortgages are voidable contracts. Anyone that has taken business law 101 knows that consideration is an essential element to a contract...there is no gray area within the law on this.

I remember viewing a documentary on History Chanel were Hitler's government was reprinting 500 Reich Mark bills into 500 000 RM bills when is thousand years Reich was just about to disintegrate. Maybe one day we will have some 1 000 000 $ bills.

When people can't pay their bills it will reflect on the banks bottom line. Bernanke will print money and pretty much just Give it to the banks so they can continue to make loans. The banks must be able to create enough credit to pay off all the previous debt, PLUS some interest. Each year this has to happen or we are doomed. The Federal Reserve is owned by the banks and cannot be told what to do by the government or anyone in government.

I believe world finance doom's day is coming even Fort Knox is Empty! The over-the-top security around Fort Knox is proof the vault is empty. The goal isn't to secure gold but secure the secret. America owes 14 000 billions to the Chinese. Soon there will be another third world nation.

Facts are facts.

During the 2008 presidential elections our economy was in the tank, you can blame democrats or you can blame republicans but it really doesn't matter. The people elected Barack Obama on a platform of change, he was elected to bring us out of the recession.

The majority of voters this election cycle will be voting with their wallets and the real question come this November will be, did he?

I think if the election is on wallets, Obama is already a goner. His hope is persuade voters to keep faith in him, and at the same time attack Romney. This is the famous tactic: "I suck but he sucks more so give me another chance."

Obama's big problem is that his coalition has crumbled. But that coalition was never (to use a favorite librul word) sustainable from the start.2008 was a bumper crop of votes for democrats, but all that magic and history is gone. Parts of his own base just don't trust him anymore. He is bullshitting them like he tried to bullshit Putin _ "After the election, I'll have more flexibility." They want him to come out right now and say, "I'm a socialist and capitalism is bad." But of course he won't.

It seems like Obama has disappointed everyone and satisfied no-one. Sure, sure, the hard core base will turn out and vote. But the fringes won't, he has lost the center and his fund raising has dried up. It now looks like Romney will raise more money than Obama. The talk about a billion dollar Obama warchest was a fiction. I don't see how he carries key states unless something unforeseen happens, which it could.

When the system in itself is corrupt, one more useless president is the equivalent of a morning dew during severe drought.

Both traditional parties and their big pharma lobbyists/financial supporters need to go....permanently.

I won't argue that the two party system is corrupt, but I will argue that the current administrations policies are and will continue to cripple our economy more than a pro business growth alternative we will get with a Romney presidency. He wasn't my first choice but someone needs to stop this forward push to increased socialism.

double dip threads have been going on since obama got into office, lots of chatter from those suffering ODS, mainly nonsense and bullshit.

but yeah, wiser people than myself were telling us to watch out for the euro as the summer's main story. these people were the ruiner and NPR.

The Right idea is to reach a balance between a government who cut everywhere and provoke recession or one who overspend and put us deeper into debt until your taxes can only pay for the interest.

You're giving examples of social programs, not socialism.
Socialism leads to a centralized government, something the founders of our constitution made sure would not happen when the wrote the constitution.

socialism is socialism...deal with it... We are not just a capitalistic nation. Open your freaking mind..By the way I believe that some of the fucking founding fathers were wrong about a lot of things...glad we can amend the Constitution.

As For the proper numbers of party needed for democracy to work. Well again it's a question of balance. With only 2 party it's like a 5 years Dictatorship that America is only protected against by the existence of 2 level of government. With 25 little party and a few major like in some European nation you have funny alliance like a green communist christian government debating against a pro-life homosexual-equality conservative opposition
