if u love her there aint no his and hers. its ours. so decide that first.
There are other ways. My ex and I had individual accounts as well as two joint ones ... one for regular expenses and one for major nonrecurrents, like vacation, car service, property tax. It worked well for us, and what killed our marriage had nowt to do with money. cn

Fuck me running. A marriage is a partnership not a business venture. If she isn't willing to go 100% (one address, one bank account, one last name [none of that hyphenated crap], one love, one partner, etc.) then you need to cut her loose. And by the way; turn in your man-card so we may tear off a corner.

Um how much would you pay a hooker?

i was thinking about my girlfriend and suppose she ends up being my wife. she has no desire to work and would prefer to stay at home and raise children. i have no problem with this. she also likes money, like most of us, and would like her fair share of my earnings. for some reason she like to keep "her" money separate from "my" money and she wants her own cut to do whatever she want to. we have discussed it recently and we both agreed it would ned to be worked out before we would get married.m in your opinion, how much should she get? how much should i get? and how much should be kept as common money/investments/retirement...etc?

I give my girlfriends 500$ each for the week, they don't get to share my house or gain any knowledge about my finances

i thought this was a no brainer. my partner and i arent even married yet. i earn more than she does but we have a single account we both drop our pays into, then bills come out, food and supplies are bought and whatever is left is spending money. we each have equal access to it but obviously any larger purchases are discussed beforehand 100% transparency. if your hiding something or they are hiding something then the relationship isnt working is it. obviously trying to get money put aside for an engagement ring or a big surprise is a major pain in the arse lol

Just talk her into building the saving account then one day the price of the ring will be gone and she will ask or flip out about the money missing, then she goes from pissed to happy. If the timing isn't right or she thinks you spent too much, a lot jewelry stores have pretty good return policies! My wife didn't get a surprise ring for this same reason we just went to the jewelry store and she picked it. A ring from 25 cent machine should work to pop the question as long as you get the real one soon after so she can show it off!

If you made 6 thousand a month put away four thousand a month for bills and a thousand each for spending money and savings.
What ever is left from the 4 thousand put into a savings acount.
Save all your spare change you and wife and take a nice trip with the money every year
We saved our change put it in a large water dispenser bottle we had about 1/2 to 2/3 full. The problem was it was glass.

When we moved we put it in a milk case. After we settled in we went to remove the bottle from the case and it shattered. Quarters, dimes, nickels, pennies everywhere, what a mess. Now that we are moving again we're going to cash in the change. I'll like you know what we attained once that is done.
